I don't know why I picked this book as it is not the usual kind of thing that I read. I was in the library and it just stood out to me so I took it out.
I expected the book to be full of magical mumbo jumbo about writing all the things I don't want in my life on a piece of paper and burning it but I was pleasantly surprised. The book talks about your sub conscience and how we manage to programme ourselves to behave and react in a certain way through automatisms in the sub conscience mind which feed our conscious mind all day everyday. It addresses how we can re programme these automatisms.
Not being an easily led person I was shocked to find myself doing a lot of thinking about how I am programmed, the effects (good and bad) that this has had on my life and which things I could re programme.
The book is not always easy to read although the language is simple. I blamed this on the amount of thinking I was doing whilst reading it.
Has it changed my life? No! But I have ordered the next book so I shall certainly let you know.
If you get over the fact that it's all a bit hairy fairy, this is actually a good book. Mainly about positive-thinking and how this can affect your life for the better.
It may help you with goal-planning, and what you want to achieve from life, as opposed to the whole "ordering from the cosmos".
Really nice examples of how sending positive energy out into the world can benefit you. I especially liked the sections on how talking to your plants can benefit their growth and how experiments illustrated how plants reacted to the human voice and thought patterns.
