I don’t have any family. Everyone who was supposed to love me left. Until he walked in on my shift. He made my heart race and my body tingle. I fell hard for him, and he became my world. I was bound for him, but he wasn’t bound for me. He grew distant, and then I found out he wasn’t who he said he was. His whole demeanor changed instantly. He’s a killer, an underboss for the Bratva Pakhan that I didn’t even know existed outside of movies. He didn’t give me a chance to come to terms with it. Instead, he threw me away, just like everyone else. He broke me after I spent years putting myself back together. I try to move on from him and concentrate on my upcoming residency. But then I find out I’m pregnant with his child.
Sergi
She was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. She was pure, not from our world, and had suffered a lot from life. But I was selfish; my whole body tingled just being near her; she was mine. Then I lose myself, push her away, and she finds out who I am. She runs without looking back, destroying me. I make mistakes I can’t take back and hurt her even more. She gives up on us, on me. But I can’t let her go; I can’t give up. I will win her back, whether she likes it or not. She’s bound for me.
This can be read as a standalone, it is book 3 of 3, bound mafia series, with a HEA. Due to mature content and themes this book is recommended for readers aged 18+, this novel may contain triggers.
Another strong heroine, another cheating H. At least this time he didn't cheat with one of her family members, but that's probably more because she's an orphan than any effort on his part.
So lot's of bad behavior on the parts of the H and some of his family members.
What did I love like: the bromance throughout the series of the Hs. It rang true and while each H screws up horribly in his own book, each one laid out the idiocy of the others in the other books if that makes sense. I also loved the heroines. Yes, they took horrible cheaters back, but they made them suffer first and are keeping the knives sharp in case there are future slip-ups so I feel good about the HEAs.
Every single one of these guys cheated. I realize these are fictional characters but what the heck kind of men cheat on their women once they’ve realized they’re in love? I don’t understand this mentality at all.
Anyway, this is better than book 2. The previous guy was pure idiot and at least this guy wasn’t smexing his girl’s relative. However that crazy Mindy witch was still in the picture, and has successfully smexed all the men in this series. Pretty disgusting…
Avery, the FMC, is pretty amazing and I really liked her, but Sergi was just as dumb as the other guys. I found it to be unbelievable that these Mafia guys could be this stupid. So somewhat entertaining, but not believable.
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK or decent reads. ======================== I liked the story, it's a shame that our hero didn't learn anything from his best friends and made the same mistakes again.
Sergi never expected to find love, but when he sees Avery in the coffee shop working he knows she is his one. He does everything to gain her trust and he gets it, but Sergi has not told Avery who he truly is, the underboss of the Bratva Pakhan. Sergi's world explodes and all that sweet and loyal part of his character erupts and he starts pushing Avery away and does something he may never come back from.
Avery does not trust easily, she has been down a horrific road for years before being saved by the only two people who loved her. Her heart broke when she lost them and has not trusted anyone again, until Sergi. She thought he was her rock, but her betrays her and proves he is like all the rest. Even though he quickly realizes his mistakes and wants her back, Avery though is pregnant and has no plans to let Sergi back in but Sergi will do what he has to do win her back, can he?
This was a heart wrenching story. The cheating portion was when they were kind of split up so it did work for this story. A lot of groveling in this one. Great couple, terrific chemistry and a surprise new character who I was highly entertained by.
The first part of the book was amazing but then I don’t what happened? When did it suddenly turn ? And what happened to let him act like a bitch suddenly everything was great. He was hurt and still loved her but then suddenly he started complaining about her drama. if someone is drunk he stays the truth, so why is he acting like a bitch and he knew that he fucked up and instead of making things right he made them worse . Also, what is the point of the heroin telling everyone she sees about her past it is pathetic There are too much coincidences to make it real. How did the professor know her after nearly 2 decades, and how did she know who is her biological father? The whole book doesn’t make any sense I feel like it’s the first time for the writer to write
Meh, I don't know. This was logically, logistically, and as usual medically questionable. BUT that's a CM book for you. I would say the first 50% was a bit boring because we're getting recycled plot and almost identical conversations from the last book. So not gonna lie. I skimmed. It started picking up after, where the H Sergi just shuts off, and shuts down the h Avery after Phoebe's attack. He ghosts her without replying to phone calls and text messages. Yet shows up to f*** her when the mood's right. And she let's him. Both characters come from losing their parents at a young age. CM had the h Avery close to Jaime Begley's character Lily with her dark hair, violet eyes, and tortured past. She was ok. Sergi is the adopted child of a Spanish mafia Don raised by the Volkovs who this series centers around. Though not related by DNA he picks up the ol cheating gene and goes for it. Have to say he was the most disappointing because I was expecting more from his character. Also, he cheats with the same chlamydia ridden skank from the last book. Well she finally meets her violent end here. But it was no fun because it was over so quickly 🤷. My final thoughts on this series would be that if you're going to write books about supposed soulmates, which was pushed here majorly, cheating makes absolutely no sense. And that's coming from me who reads all the cheating trainwrecks, but I do have my standards 😂. I try to draw the line at soulmates. Well, the FMCs here didn't cheat which was honestly a tragedy 🤭. Overall it was ok.

This was sure addictive to read I couldn't put it down after seeing them in another previous book I wanted to read there story and was not disappointed at all I loved it. The best of the series in my opinion
Overall I really liked the series. Follows a very similar plot line to books in the same mafia romance genre. What was different for me was a specific scene that had me tearing up. I won’t give any spoilers but it made me shed a few tears.
Needs to be professionally edited and way too much OWD. Like every woman who comes in contact with these men want to steal them. I don’t think this author actually likes women.
Bound for you: mafia romance ( bound mafia series book 3)
This is the first time, I read this authors books. She is great, I enjoyed reading all of her series. This last book was heartbreaking and exciting to read that included other characters from the previous novels. Hopefully this author will continue write more compelling novels.
Sergi was my favorite through out the series and in his story was so much more going on. This had everything that angst, betrayal in every corner, OW drama (same chick throughout the series)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and series! I do wish there were more to the series and see them or their kids in the future. That being said... Avery was such a good one that was most relatable. She's been through so much in her young life and she still was a good person. She deserved so much and Sergi was going to fix what he broke.
This series can also be named The Three Idiots. Because they never learn, do they? They can tut over and preach to their (cheating at the time) brother but never take said lesson to heart.
Still, this mmc is way better imo compared to the other two because at least he's sincere, caring and loyal to begin with. And these two set some serious couple goals. I totally adored them as a couple and he's so good for her. A gift and respite after a long, hard and lonely life. Their childhood has some similarities with single dead moms and absent fathers, and great adoptive families - but hers is waaaay too dark.
Ofc, as in other two books, he tumbles. (And she is secretly pregnant at the time.) He not only crushes her emotionally by suddenly turning cold, using her only for s*x and sneering at her - and worse. (great for angst!) But then he also cheats. Happens after the break-up. It's one off and he regrets it. (Thankfully, no overload of sex, or revolting sexscenes in like the previous book) Still, cheating is cheating. And unbeknownst to him, she happens to see him in action. So, it is game on with the the grovel and winning her back.
Thre h has a heartbreaking backstory -way worse than the other two fmcs'. Cokehead mom, disappeared father, foster homes, years of abuse - then thankfully she gets a break with loving adoptive parents at 9 who are teh brest and take care of her even in death. She is med student (like the other two - nurse and vet.) She's not kickass or assertive like the other fmcs but still has a quiet and sweet strength that serves her well.
The book refuses to be over though. The second book's scenes - too many of them - are written in word by word! And subplot after subplot, villain after villain (old and new) keep tumbling out. Even the epilogue is not free of new drama. And overload of family imo - always in each other's' business. Well, you are mafia - don't you have stuff to do etc.? If 'smirk' is the author's go-to word in the series, 'rasp' is the new one here. No one speaks/talks, they rasp.
Still, 3.65*ish.

This series has been like a pain in the tooth ... can't avoid touching it even though I know it will hurt. Atleast this guy was better than the other 2 shitheads! Still he couldn't stop cheating like the other 2 assholes. These people treat cheating very normally as if eating icecream or a cake when ur sad or hurt. Everyone is sad and mad about cheating but it's OK the poor guy was hurting so he decided to stick it in someone's ass . Let's forgive the poor hurting baby for cheating on the love of his life. And all the heroine's have been tortured to death so they think these guys are a better option than atleast dying. The MMC has a 360° change of nature when his cousin is in hospital. He goes from loving, caring and I love yous to treating her like whore, avoiding her and threatening her with her life and cheating on her all because he is in pain for his cousin. Then abruptly he changes after cheating to once again the loving and caring man and wants her back. It's as if he had a brain transplant or a split personality disorder. Other problems I have with this author is repeating the meaning of some foreign words/ endearments every time the word is mentioned as if the reader is dumb enough to forget the meaning after 2 or 3 times and when it's being used no less than 50- 100 times it becomes irritating. For example sestra ( sister) and most funny 1 I thought Papa (dad) who in the world doesn't know the meaning of Papa??? Secondly there were so many repetitive words, phrases and paragraphs ( in males POV and female POV) that it became boring and I had to skim a lot. For example "furrowed/ ing his brows" growls, rasps . They keep on growling, rasping, furrowing like animals!

Avery has spent her life being abused and longing for a family. Running from a foster home at 9 years old she runs right into a cop that believes her when he tells her she's been abused and she lives a loved life for 4 years until her adoptive mother dies of cancer; she stays with her father until he passes when she's 16 and she has to run to avoid going back into the foster care. Serge had his mother and his extra family until cancer took her from him. Having a really bad day he walks into a coffee sop and his heart beats again for the first time since he lost his mother. Avery is in the last 10 months of med school not looking for a relationship when Sergi walks in anyway. They are both hiding things her the past she is ashamed of and him that he is in the mafia. Everything is going well until his cousin is attacked and in a coma. He pushed her away when she learns she's pregnant and goes to tell him she finds him having sex with someone else. Serge is broken over his behavior and when he learns she's pregnant with twins he vows to do everything in his power to win her back.

Poor Avery went through so much. My heart just went out to her. I admit I cried while my husband laughed at me. This was my favorite book out of the three. I loved reading about Sergei and Avery. Similar to the first two books there were quite a few typos but it didn’t take away from the story. Honestly I only gave three stars because the author completely overused the phrase “bound to you/him/her.” I get that this was the underlying premise of all three books but it was shoved down the readers throat to the point I kept rolling my eyes whenever I saw the phrase. If I had a dollar for every time it was used, I could retire. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this book and can see myself re-reading it.
Parts of this definitely have potential but what really got me was the fact that Sergi went from being the best boyfriend imaginable to suddenly, after his cousin was attacked, turning into a complete and utter shit to her. Basically he treated her just like she was a prostitute and nothing else. For around three months! What the hell was all that about?
This was before he told her the truth about who he was, threatened her and then cheated. I mean I'd have dumped him before it got to the scene where she found out the truth about him because the way he treated her was disgusting and it was never really explained. Just "oh he was upset".
How could she ever trust him again? He hardly grovelled and she took him back, the doormat. 😬
This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, angst, intrigue, challenges, humour, witty banter, loyalty, danger, suspense, romance, lies, betrayal, palpable chemistry, and love, which all leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and heartfelt steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose I highly recommend.
Loved the story line and seeing the final character get their HEA, but also extremely emotional trauma background that had me in tears. Many parts of the book provoke emotional responses. Definitely worth the read. I read book 2,1 then 3 (because I found book 2 story line first and was intrigued), which I actually think worked better overall even if it was out of order, but because the book 3 story line picked up where 1 finished and flowed with the events of 2 at the start.
Storyline: 📙📙📙📙📙 Intimacy Level: 🍒🍒 Character Building: ➷➷➷➷➷ HEA: Yes Overall View: ✨✨✨ I enjoyed this series and would have given it a 4 but the slut shaming got old. Women don't lose their value over having sex nor do they become loose. If that happens it is vaginal damage caused by birth and sometimes even rape. Those parts were not good with me. Sex does not make a female a bad person. Gold digging and chasing others mates do. It's really my only complaint so far in all her series. She tells a great story and all her books can be read as stand-alone.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Couple: Sergi & Avery ❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋❋ I have to say, if there was a favorite it would definitely be Sergi. That's not really saying much when not a single hero in this series could possibly deserve a second chance. Especially when it comes to the sweetest heroine ever, Avery. This girl was put through enough. Im not sure how but this crazy, way over dramatic, all over the place series had me entertained and I just needed to see it through till the end. And somehow you walk away liking this crazy extended family.
Poor Avery what she suffered through is unimaginable but unfortunately does happen. Charlotte tells good stories but it can be repetitive sometimes. I understand telling duel points of view but sometimes it’s repeated a third time. I’ve read a few books by Charlotte and one thing sticks out she needs to get a new proof reader because of the amount of errors especially in this one is ridiculous. The odd misprint is fine but there is far too many throughout. Otherwise really good.
DNF @ 42% I’m not wild about these characters, I’m kind of bored due to reiterations of previous storylines and the focus on other characters, nothing too interesting has happened with the main storyline up to this point, and eye roll inducing moments when almost every woman looks down on the heroine because she is so beautiful and smart.
I was bummed because I really enjoy this author, but not being wild about only one of her books after reading so many of them is not a bad run.
The terrible writing completely overshadows the storyline potential.
There are so many misspellings, wrong words or common phrases used that it’s hard to stay focused on the story itself. And this is after the series has supposedly been re-edited. And I cannot stress enough how annoying the constant “smirks” and “sobs” throughout series is. Everyone does not smirk or sob at all times, certainly not if you’re an assassin or in the mafia.
I really liked the story even though some parts irritated me. I really like Avery and was glad she had a backbone. Sergi learned absolutely NOTHING from what his friends went through.
The parts that irritated me were Avery not telling Sergi her past but other people. The crying, OMG the crying from everyone.
I had high hopes for Sergi. Initially, he was kind and sweet, but then he lost control. Despite the circumstances, his handling of everything was like really poor. But, he was still better than Alexandr and Damian. Unfortunately, it seems like men in their family can’t avoid cheating and treating their women poorly.

THROAT PUNCH... Thats what comes to mind when I think about the ladies from this series.
The men... Well I'd rather not say what comes to mind with them.. But the ladies... WTF, especially Av.. So much for strong h's who dont take shit. Can anyone say doormat? All she needed was a welcome sign stamped to her forhead.. Stupid.
I loved this book. You tied up some things ie Mindy etc . I volunteer to edit your books. I know I could do a better job. But anyway I would love another book or at least a short story to see where they all are in the future. I will definitely look for more books by you. Thank you.
The writing style and the grammar are greatly improved in comparison with the first book. I'm glad I decided to read the whole series and didn't just stop at the first book. This one was my favorite out of the series
