Another one of those tech books my little nephew likes borrowing from their school library. I liked the first of these books that I read, it was about the founding of Facebook. This one although its title read "Apple" was more focused on one of its founder, Steve Jobs. The story was very informative and the book is filled with a lot of interesting events that contributed to the Apple corporation becoming one of the most, if not the most, influential technological company in recent history and how instrumental Steve Jobs was in achieving this status. The book was written with school kids as its target demographic, so it is simply written and really reader-friendly. I really enjoyed reading a lot of the information in this book and it's cool that it covers even the "ugly" side of the company and Jobs. Overall, it's a good quick read very informative and highly enjoyable.

This visually stimulating biography of the Apple Company and it's founder, Steve Jobs, will interest those who want to know more about the start of this technology mogul. Beginning with the advent of computing and ending with the inventions of the current day, there is a lot of information packed into 100 pages, including a timeline, a glossary, additional resources, and very complete source notes. The author does a very credible job portraying Jobs as both brilliant and yet temperamental.
