Her thoughtful observations and advice show how anyone can transform their thinking about what makes us beautiful, while providing simple guidance for creating a radiance that only comes from within. Each compact essay contains a tool you can Put to use today to heighten your awareness of your own inner beauty. With her trademark candor, Moran illustrates how true beauty comes from a sense of wholeness. She combines tips for taking care of your spirit with simple techniques for tending the needs of your body and essays on self-affirmation and the care and feeding of the soul. Like all of Victoria's books that I have read so far, this is a great little companion that would be an excellent addition to your collection. It is filled with numerous ideas and reminders of ways that you can nurture your body and soul to bring more beauty and happiness into your life. It would be a terrific book to thumb through once a month to check in with your self-care regimen and see if there is something you'd like to add or enhance in your life.

I read books filled with self-care and grounding advice both to revisit good principles, to attend to how others define living well, and to appreciate new perspectives and teachings. There are a whole lot of books out there for women claiming and reclaiming themselves and this belongs to that number. If that sounds like something you'd like to read right now, then pick this one up. It is a good representative.

I saw this author in an interview by Chef AJ and found this book at our local library. Being new in the Whole Food Plant Based movement I was glad to hear a recommendation for skin care products. The kinder box that she mentioned has enabled me to care for myself again without using carcinogens and formaldehyde. Spirit is tops but don't forget your skin.

I first read this book in my 20's, and it changed my course. Victoria is a wise soul, with so much to offer. I'm happy I thought to pick it up again--this time in my 40s. It's timeless! Still relevant, still helpful. I hope every woman has access to a teacher and mentor like Victoria--someone to turn your gaze within. Her other books and offerings are also worth looking into.

I loved this book. It is very easy to read -- some chapters are just 3 pages long-- and full of wisdom. This book reminded me to find out what I am passionate about, to take care of me and to honor my true self.

Rather non-descript book focusing on inner beauty (which I like).

Quick read; loved the advice, and that you could read the "chapters" in any order you want.

As always, some real gems. But peppered with too many platitudes.

While some advice seems basic there are a lot of great points to think about as you contemplate your life and how you live it.
