I dont remember much of this because I read it so long ago. Only that I enjoyed it and highlighted certain parts.

as someone working in bioengineering, I was compelled to read this book, especially coming from the '80s when the technology was so nascent

the majority of the book is unoriginal criticisms of Darwin, though when Rifkin does explicitly write on the Algeny concept I appreciate his perspectives

The last chapter reads like a requiem for the natural world. I'll remember it forever

to read anything this guy writes is a waste of good reading time.
