[Siren Erotic Contemporary Romantic Suspense, public exhibition] Tropical nights, salsa rhythms, and Latin hunks fill Beverly Miller's fitful dreams. Mounting bills, hungry four-legged friends, and a farm in desperate need of repair are her reality. Her worthless ex-husband made sure she'd have plenty to keep her busy, off the market, and regretting every moment spent with him. Handyman Chad Brewster's life was shattered with his wife's tragic death five years ago. As he replaces Bev's heat pump and mends fences, both literally and figuratively, he can't deny the feisty and beautiful Beverly awakens desires and emotions he never expected to feel again. Chad's charms don't go unnoticed by Beverly. When they succumb, their passions burn away any doubt, past pain, or failure, if only for the moment. Beverly's loathsome ex and his sadistic partner each have their own agenda for her, which doesn't include her muscled boyfriend. Jealousy and revenge battle love and compassion. Winner takes all. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

Raised by various relatives in rural Arkansas, a lack of wherewithal developed my sense of adventure and a vivid imagination. My grandpa's wagon was a royal coach, the plow horse became my charger, and the barnyard animals were whatever I wished them to be. I learned at an early age, my mind could take me wherever I wanted to go and make me whoever I wished to be.

As I grew reading took me to far-away lands and places, the past and the future. I was hooked. Content to read, it didn’t occur to me to try my hand at writing until years later.

In my teens I discovered romance novels. I loved historicals and strong, virile heroes. Later I became interested in the paranormal. I devoured Ann Rice, Laurell K. Hamilton and others in the genre and found one constant. I always preferred the monsters. While composing my junior and senior themes in high school I discovered my love of writing and according to those literature teachers, a talent for it.

My ideas of what made a hero changed, as did my opinions of timid, meek heroines. No Pitiful Pearls for me, I liked my girls to have grit!

I am a member of RWA, my local chapter, Diamond State Romance Authors and the on-line critique group ERAuthors.

Forever a country girl, I reside on five rural acres with ten dogs and two horses.
