Everything: Building a Life Centered on God
Overtime, teens naturally begin to spend more time with things like friends, sports and jobs. With extended freedoms from driver’s licenses and moving away from home, many in their late teen or young adult years begin to separate themselves from church and unfortunately any faith or relationship they had with God as children.
In order to lower these numbers, relevant teaching of the Bible and Christian living is essential. This study is designed to help decrease the number who walk away from God and increase the power of God in young women’s lives.
“Everything” is designed for you—the busy student. Whether you know a lot or a little about the Bible, this study will help you face your days with the love of God in areas of your communication with others, in the actions everyone sees and even in your thoughts only God can hear. Completing this study will help you learn more about your true identity, focus on truths of God’s Word and quiet the lies of this crazy world. You will be encouraged to intentionally live for Christ and be inspired to build your own relationship with Jesus so that no matter where you are or what happens to you, God is a part of you as the Leader of your life.
Life is busy and moves fast. Finding time for the “homework” of a Bible study can be challenging. That’s why this 8-week study is designed to take up little reading and study time throughout the week. This study works best when the week’s content is read together during your small group time together. Each week has been created to spark thoughts about God’s truths and promises along with guidance to help you think about, experience and reflect God’s character in your life as you go about your regular routines.
Throughout the study, the author shares stories of her past, while incorporating Biblical truths for impactful and relatable learning that leads to application. To help guide the reader to share her own viewpoints and experiences for individual growth, the study also includes personal perspectives and insights from teenage girls of different ages.
