This shows you how to jazz up items that the author already owned. If you don't have the same, or similar items, this book is pretty useless. The end products were interesting, however, if you've watched HGTV or DIY TV, you've probably already seen similar ideas.

A 30 second google search will turn up more info and techniques and inspiration than this bland little book. The photography was variable in quality and almost completely without progress/tutorial photos.

All in all, not a single project I am inspired to try.

One last tiny gripe...why is a travel jewelry pouch (made from a folded quilted table mat) considered a decorating project?

Some pretty good inspiration for projects to update old things, cover windows, transform the mundane into something special. I like that the book is divided into types of projects (window dressings, furniture...), making it easier to return to a project. While I won't copy anything specific, there are some good leaping off points in this collection. Library was a great resource for this.
