This is the second book in this series, told in dual first person POV. This book was a good read, but there were some spots that I came across that were a little on the unbelievable side.
I loved that Alex stepped up to care for a baby he wasn’t sure was his. I loved that the chemistry between him and Tori were undeniable. I love that Tori had an instant connection to his daughter.
What I didn’t understand was how could he get a call about a woman he didn’t remember telling him she dropped a baby off at his door, but he never took her to make sure he was the father or make sure she was okay after just being dumped and left in front of his door? If his relative knew about the baby and watched the baby, then why in the same night did he not have formula for her? If Tori felt such a connection to the baby, then why did she not question where the baby was when Alex showed up at her appointment? Why did he feel like he couldn’t trust his PR rep or even his coach with the fact that a lady dropped a baby off to him?
Aside from these questions, I do think that this was a good story and with a little more work, it would be better.

This was a good story, but there are questions. Why didn't she come forward with her side of the story to tell them Brittany is not hers. Why didn't he make sure she was his when he got her right away? Why didn't we hear more about Brittany and her health after the conference? Why didn't we hear about the results of the court case? Like I said, it's a good story, but I just don't feel like it's a finished story.
A chance meeting at a bar, life changes for both of them. Alex a hockey player who has now got a bad reputation and Tori who has just been fired and went for a drink. Their pasts effect their future but both are really decent people and survive what is about to happen. Nice romantic story, has a very quick conclusion that should have gone on a few more chapters
