This story has fascinated me since I first watched the TV movie about operation Jaywick and the the sequel about Rimau. I visited Singapore and Kranji war cemetery in 2019 and saw the graves of some of the men who lost their lives in this mission and I wanted to read the real story rather than the polished film adaptation. It seems devastating to me that bureaucratic incompetence cost these men and their families so much and still decades later they have not properly been acknowledged. Thank you for the book and keeping this story alive
Filmnya kalo gak salah judulnya The Highest Honor.
Cari dimana yah, buku ato filmnya?
One of the thousands of true stories of WWII heroism, this one concerning a small group of volunteers who targeted the Japanese warships stationed in Singapore harbour. Incredibly, these Brits and Aussies used kayaks that converted to submersibles with scuba equipment. The second mission goes badly wrong. A line on the cover reads ' this book is written in anger' and at the end the reader can easily see why.
