This is a really good story that continues to open up more possibilities in this world. The characters are gaining more and more believability as things progress for them. Each group is finding out more and more about what has happened around them, even though it may not help them right away. I enjoy the audio because those voicing the characters are doing a great job of bringing them to life.
They have all now run into the killer aliens and though they may not know what they are, the one thing they do know is that they are deadly. They are also starting to realize that whatever is going on they may have to do some things that they never would have before.
Adult language but nothing too over the top and the carnage is kept to a minimum so far.
When I first started this series it wasn't easy to get really attached to the characters. But, I'm realizing now that it's probably because there are so many, with different story lines and they all have a similar beginning...scared and confused. But, I'm glad I continued because as you read further it becomes easy to get wrapped up in all the characters and their separate stories. This reads like a great tv series and the writers do an excellent job of keeping you guessing by allowing each character to have their own theories about what's happening and they are fantastic at allowing the writing style to completely immerse itself in each person's own voice. The longer I read the more hooked I get. I will definitely keep reading!
This one was good. Better than episode 2, that's for sure. I thought that Luca Harding teaming up with Brent Fosters group was cool, and that all the groups are finally meeting each other was cool. By far, my favorite part of this series was Bob's death scene. It was great, the way the Author slowed down time in that part. I do think, though, that Luca's "transformation" was a little bit more on the fictional side of the story. I have said it before, and I will say it again, read from the beginning, and don't start on number 4 or 5.

This shit storm of a story just keeps getting worse! I'm astounded at all the different bits of ridiculousness that have been crammed in here. It's like the Atlantis Gene: they should've picked ONE premise and stuck to it.
Other stray thoughts: - I'm someone who likes swearing, but for God's sake it feels like they throw in curse words in Benicio's narrative just to drill home what a 'bad, scary guy' he is. He's not, he's a mouthy git who needs to be fucking murdered for being the damned worst character in the world - I really hate Benicio - Everyone else is annoying - Why on earth did Luca randomly 'age up'? Did he get enough experience points to level up? - Brent - being a dick since forever. - So, the black alien things are actually infected humans? WE'RE ADDING ZOMBIE DISEASE AS WELL NOW?!

Solid. Series has found it's rhythm now, no major new reveals in this one save a very interesting twist for Ed. a bit too much of the kid although that's gone a bit weird so hopefully means less of the annoying kidspeak in future chapters. Borricio's story still excellent although his language is ludicrous. No-one not even a crazed serial killer talks like that, it is funny as hell though. Lots of monster killing, certainly not lacking in action, I'm in this for the long haul now, totally gripped.
This entire series is 'outside' of my typical genres, but has pulled me in and I've enjoyed the ride. I can't wait to see what happens in the next episode or book. Well written, great storyline and hard to put down!!!
I'm still entertained by this series, but I'm not sure how I feel about all the narrators that are being introduced. It is making it difficult to get attached to any of them.
Things are just getting more intese, more creepy and exciting. Everything is really heating up. I cannot wait to finish this season and begin season two. GO team Boricio!
