This book is true story of Dr. Abhay Bang who suffered from Heart disease at the age of 44. You might wonder, how a doctor who never had addiction of cigarette & alcohol throughout his life suffered from heart attack?
Everyone should at least read it once and try and follow some basic routines explained in the book.
The book is all about Dr. Abhay’s struggle in coming back to life (and full fledged Life!) after surviving an heart attack and undergoing an angioplasty surgery. Based on his own experience he mentioned how one can “prevent“ from having these diseases in first place. Dr. Abhay Bang had tried (and I will say succeeded!) in finding the basic root cause, which is nothing but the Lifestyle that the society is following.
This one is best of the best book on this topic. Its about heart disease. Our perception about heart disease changes after reading this book. Heart disease is not about age, it can happen to anyone who are in 60's, 50's,40's, 30's, even in their 20's . Another misconception is only fat people are in danger, it depends on cholesterol levels , DNA, Inheritance of Genes, Lifestyle, food habits. The book further gave many references ,theories and exercise and food tips for fitness. Its all in one book written in very simplistic manner , sometimes funny ,sometimes serious . I really enjoyed this book. 100% in Bookshelf material. Must read .
An alarming biography by Dr. Abhay Bang who, after fighting a heart attack, shares the lessons he learnt. Most of us think about exercising, managing diet, etc. as "to do after age of 35-40 years". Thats exactly where young people are at the highest risk. Avoiding heart problems is entirely in our hands...if we start NOW.

One fine day Dr Abhay bang gets heartache which straight away leads him to operation theater for angioplasty. From here starts the thought process, even thou being a doctor how he has been neglecting the symptoms of heart attack and how his diagnosis went wrong.
1) This book very clearly eradicates one of the myth that if you are not smoking, drinking and leading normal lifestyle you will not get heart attack.
2) The author very meticulously point to every fine details about his recovering. He let you know about the physical efforts you need to take as well as the spiritual help you need to take.
He has written only one book but never you will feel he lags somewhere in writing the book.
