Snitches Get Riches After losing her man, to a gold-digger, Mia tastes victory when her rival is locked up for murder. She feels Jasmine is getting what she deserved for crossing her. Now, playing the upper hand, she knows Nico will soon realize how much he needs her. Jasmine is a pro at going up against all odds. So when the Feds snatch her up and offer her a deal she can't refuse, she's wise enough to keep a few tricks up her sleeve to outsmart not only the agents, but her ex-man as well. Fueled by cash and vengeance, she masterminds a plan to come out in the winner's circle and prove once and for all that she's no longer a mistress. She is WIFEY.
Author Erica Hilton utilizes book two of her wifey series to illustrate the pitfalls that awaits both Jasmine and Mia with their plights to become Nico's one and only. Nico is busy trying to keep his organization afloat while ensnared in a drug war and avoiding a federal investigation. Since Jasmine is now facing jail time Mia gets busy securing her wifey position, by proving that she's a ride or die chick willing to do anything to hold her man down. Jasmine is unwilling to give up the wifey status that she attained without a fight so she negotiates a deal that allows her freedom...but at what cost?
Unlike it's predecessor there isn't any back and forth scheming between the two ladies. Instead of cattiness, the drama takes place in the streets while both Jasmine and Nico try to out maneuver each other. This new direction keeps the plot from being redundant while adding a new element. Author Hilton should be commended for not only her elevation of the storyline but for also concluding it and not falling victim to the current trilogy trend. Also commendable is the fact that there were ramifications instead of the glorification that is usually displayed when writing about drug dealer's girlfriends.
I Am Wifey by Erica Hilton is a recommended read especially for readers of book one From Mistress to Wifey. One of the ladies comes out on top while the remaining lady will finally find out that there was no real prize, making her the true winner!

Part two finds Mia and Jasmine still vying for the top spot in Nico’s life. Though the ladies still want Nico, unlike the first book, WIFEY: I AM WIFEY takes another path and focuses more on another angle – the Feds trying to take down Nico. I was happy not to see too much over the top drama between the ladies but the interaction between the two was minimal at best. The alternative path was simply not as interesting or as strong.
Erica Hilton’s WIFEY: I AM WIFEY is just an okay read. If you’re looking for a book about Mia and Jasmine, you will be disappointed. However, if you read book one and you are just dying to know what happened, I’d recommend reading it.
This book was really good , jasmine was like a bomb to go off anytime , she made really bad choices when it came to men . Mia was still fighting her to get her man back and trying to have niko believed she was talking to the cops which she was . Jasmine became a police informant and she had to take down some powerful men . I didn’t think she was going to make it out alive but she did with her freedom and 250 thousand dollars , while Mia was in jail and niko was on the run .
Jasmine's main and only focus has been to prove that she is THE official WIFEY! When the Feds get ahold of her and present her with an offer a money hungry female could never resist. She sets her sights on her biggest payday to date.
If you are looking for a book full of street drama then this is definitely the book for you. Overall this was an 'ok' read. The author stayed true to the story and its characters but I feel that I have read a story along the same lines about 6 times too many. I AM WIFEY is the prime example of a book NOT needing a sequel.
I stayed on this fence the whole time I read this book, not saying it was'nt good- but Jasmine(the main character) was just doing too much for my taste. But from the very begining the book had my attention. And tho it had my attention I kept finding myself wanting it to hurry up and end cause it just seemed kinda far fetched. I dunno maybe it is just me, but any who it is worth a read so go for it!
This book was a really good read! Both of them were. It seemed that Jas got off too good from being a CI, I wasn't crazy about how Homicide got killed and the fact the Nico is just in the wind but overall, I'd recommend these to be read.
it kept you on your toes good story line, but one thing chapter 37 the characters are mixed up Simone was in the hospital not Jasmine I would recommend everyone read this book
Damn it just got better.Like why are yall fighting over that spot.Mia was trifling just as much as Jasmine was.Mia was dumb to be with Nico ass doe. Then jasmine got off way too easy with wat she did
