Oh man, this is one of my favorite books of all time. I don't even know what to say. The Coole family, totally fucked up, each member screwy in a really scary very real way, all their twisted secrets, their basement hideaways, their smoking pot on the roof, their peering thru peepholes...all lorded over by the prototypical drunk Irish father. Sadly I think this book is out of print. Actually, the fake cream colored copy of the book Goodreads uses as the cover, is nearly identical to the Dalkey Archive Press version. Ha!
