I blame Smith and his spoilers!
He inspired irritated me.

The plot had a lot of potential but got lost in the Amazon jungle.

Maltese..is like..some..godfather of hypermasculine-homoerotic fiction..or something. It's impossible not to have a physiological reaction to his filthy words...(unless flat-lined).

This is actually a seductive fast-paced jungle thriller. Intriguing German ancestry/mystery with teenage first loves in search of their MIA fathers under some dense sweaty tropical umbrella rainforest..shit.



..per­spi­ra­tion ran the length of Kurt’s plea­sure-stri­ated neck. Beads of wet clung to and among the whorls of hair mat­ting his chest and belly. There were loud sounds each time his sopped stom­ach whacked my cock-ac­cept­ing ass.

“Fuck­ing … sexy … stud!” he said, his breath hot, wet, sweet, upon my face.



“Fuck me harder, bas­tard!” I com­manded. “Fuck me deeper!” As if it were hu­manly pos­si­ble for him to fuck any harder or deeper or faster, or … The mo­men­tum of the screw con­tin­ued to move us along the floor. We left a seem­ing slug trail along the cheap car­pet.

Yeah, Maltese is like the Hemingway of gay erotica, and it comes through in his work, loud and clear. He always writes detailed narrative, and it’s believable, even if he’s completely making it up! ...no this isn’t about Nazi exploitation...it’s about this guy named Kurt Mann, who ventures off to South America [where is father was murdered], along with this guy Brad [an ex-lover from his youth] and this dude Jim, both of whom also had dad’s disappear in the same jungle [that’s why they’re going together-see?] Now Kurt’s dad MIGHT be an ex-Nazi doctor, who just MIGHT be responsible for the death’s of the other two men’s fathers. The plot thickens. So does the sex in the jungle. 0__0 Seriously. One-handed reading with plot is so hard to come by [no pun intended], so I highly recommend this one if you’re an action geek who loves gay erotica.
