Having read many alternative books on research in the IS domain after reading. This book is complete, consice and readable. Compliments to J. Recker for creating this great book. Advice to all people starting their research and want a compact and consice book to provide an overview and not missing the needed details.

This book is a solid introduction to research in information systems. Recker keeps things clear and readable, which makes it super approachable, especially if you’re new to academic research. He explains research methods, design, and practical tips in a way that actually makes sense without being overly complicated.
