I didn't realize it the first time I read this, having not read A Thousand Plateaus, but this is the best guide to Plateau 11 ('Of the Refrain'), Plateau 10 ('Becoming-Intense, Becoming-Animal, Becoming-Imperceptible...') and Plateau 7 ('Year Zero: Facility'). Just putting it out there. This is what I get for doing the secondary reading first.

These aspects of Deleuze's writing may seem ancillary to the philosophy, but for Deleuze, these artistic practices ARE philosophy, and Bogue facilitates our understanding of Deleuze's unique perspectives.

Very good book and detailed, but a way off my interests. I thought it combined arts (music & painting) but it was very specialised and difficult to continue it, because I lost my interest...
