Their mission is very to be present with the brokenhearted and needy, while working with and within the systems that affect the lives of those they seek to help.

My son is going to graduate very soon with a master's in divinity and will become a hospice chaplain. This book was so revealing about all the aspects of chaplaincy from history to current practice. This is THE textbook on the subject.
