First published in 1915, this is a cute handbook for the outdoor gal. While some of the general ideas still stand up, many sections are amusingly of their time (like the clothing advice) or perhaps plain dangerous (some of the emergency suggestions). I'm not sure how popular it was around its release or with the generations since, but I hope it emboldened lots of young women back in the day. It's a fun, novelty read for outdoorsy folks today.
