The Cliff The Sailor in the Sea The Man in the Jungle The Man In a suit of Amour (With two endings)
Once upon a time a writer was found. Never before had she liked writing, or reading for that matter. It all changed when she read the Harry Potter series. From there on the reader was found. Many years later the love of writing came along.
The author, Young, uses magnificent imagery and wording. I can clearly picture a setting of night, a man walking upon a cliff, close to the edge of a fire-winged bird calls to him with
The opening five lines suggests that the "it" could be a phoenix, as its wings are "ablaze", though Young misspells the word as "ab laze" which made it difficult to read.
Another thing that Young does that makes the reader lose focus is changing between upper and lowercase 'I" for "its" which should be lowercase if it is not the beginning of the line.
I would suggest a quick look-over by the author to fix spelling and grammatical errors, but overall I very much enjoyed this poem.
The Sailor in the Sea/The Man in the Jungle/The Man in a Suit of Armour:
All were tied to each other, along with The Cliff. It was brilliantly joined, telling a good story. I suggest the author look over it and correct all spelling and grammatical errors as there were quite a few. Also, maybe change the font to Times New Roman font size 13.
Overall: A good piece that is worth a one-time read.
