I love hearing directly from the artists, and the interconnections and their different paths to artistic fame are fascinating. Though the interviews are from 30 or so years ago, the work of many of these artists appears in current news and shows, including the Modern Rebels show opening at the Milwaukee Art Museum on June 18.
