Unlike other wedding/shower craft books that are organized by craft (invitations, favors, etc.) this one is organized by theme. The author has taken ten different popular bridal shower themes and come up with everything you need for each one, from the invitations, to the favors and decorations, even a suggested menu. All are very stylish and fun! I would not say that this book would be for beginning crafters, although there are plenty of super-simple crafts - most of the crafts listed are pretty involved. Also, if you chose to actually do one of the theme showers from top to bottom, every craft item listed for that shower, it would be a BIG undertaking, possibly HUGE if the guest list were long. So I wouldn't say this book is for the casual crafter, if you intended to use it that way. I chose to take bits and pieces here and there, combining different ideas from different themes, and I found the projects I chose all worked wonderfully.

There is some really cute stuff in this book, but not for my purposes. Wish I'd had this before I got married though! ;)
