Israel Cavazos gives us a significant rendition of Nuevo Leons decisive role in Mexicos history, as well as the states economic and urban development. This historical account about Nuevo León starts of with the indigenous groups that lived in the region. It took part in the Independence War, fought in the first foreign attack, in many other battles and uprisings, and above all in the Revolution, not only with its leaders and soldiers but with the collaboration of the entire society. Finally the author studies the causes which made great industries take off and blossom in such a way that it characterizes Nuevo León up till now.

Es un gran libro. Aunque a veces puede, en algunos capítulos, hacerse algo pesado es un libro con mucha información, que te explica cómo es que nuevo león es lo que es y que hechos lo llevaron a convertirse en hoy día.
