This book looks at how governments tried to influence how people thought about the war. It describes white propaganda that encouraged home populations as well as black propaganda that set out ot undermine the morale of the enemy.
Concept: 5 stars. Inexcusable typos and poorly constructed sentences: 1 star. I found several sentences throughout that seemed to be unedited after they had been translated from another language Slightly slanted to US with 8 pages! And only 4or 6 for others. Does that mean the US uses more propaganda than other countries? In spite of its errors, this book will be very useful in my fifth-grade US history studies: very good maps in the back, and the large images of posters. Will work well with the book "Enemies" by
