Astra Rainbow, the calm and unresponsive young woman, becomes the secretary of Mickey Burke. Astra is haunted by an incident that happened to her as a child and feels she is going to die young to pay for her sin. Mickey Burke, a comedy writer, has a fear of commitment to girlfriend Shelly and an angry Chip on his shoulder. Astra seems to bring out the better side of Mickey.
