Beautiful book. Chapter One opens with stories about the "singing forest" - a lovely idea. But there is advice on making body oils, cleansing the atmosphere of the home, cleansing the chakras, using music, sound, color, and reiki for healing, etc. Also a lot of interesting research on aromatic traditions. Both functional and interesting - worth the read.

This book delves head first into the connection between fragrance and spirituality. Useful for both the lay person and practitioner interested in aromatherapy and healing. One of my favorite reference books!

With all due respect to Valerie who I am sure is an expert in Aromatherapy I found this book disappointing. You could not escape her strong proclivity towards Christianity by the many references to the Bible.

At times I felt I had to ground myself and stop thinking about fairies and the psychic world.

The E/book presentation was very poor the reference to the oils could hardly be seen or enlarged.
I now think twice about ordering a book based on positive comments made by others on Amazon.

Valerie Ann Worwood is probably the best writer on aromatherapy in the UK. I would have liked the book chapters arranged in a slightly different order, but apart from that, it's very good.

Everything is connected and aromas can bring back a memory in an instant. If you want to know more, there's a few more in this series. Great books.
