Clearly deep thinkers about their work, and authors of some very impressive buildings, this book also contains examples of architecture that it's very difficult to get enthused about, being often cerebral to the point of being indistinguishable from the generic.
On the other hand, some buildings that I am very familiar with turn out to have been designed by them, which was a minor revelation.
