Recently developed lgM antibody tests to investigate typhoid fever are also described. The new classification of salmonellae has been introduced. The haematology and blood transfusion chapters have been updated, including a review of haemoglobin measurement methods in consideration of the high prevalence of anaemia in developing countries.

Best ever laboratory practice book I have ever read is medical laboratory practice in tropical countries. It has impacted a very good and excellent practice in me. Is a book to go for when it comes to laboratory profession, all that you need as a professional is in there.
