He is best known for his eight-year run as writer of the DC Comics' title The Flash, as well as his scripting of the limited series Kingdom Come and Superman: Birthright, and his work on Marvel Comics' Captain America.

Never read much Fantastic Four till now and I get why every one loves it so much. In a early panel in the series a character says what makes them special is they are a family first and superheroes second and while it sounds corny its true. I feels very timeless (besides dated jokes) because at the center its a sci-fi family who sometimes have to fight the U.N. or fix their P.R. Overall this was a fun read and I hope to read more and hopefully the classic stuff. Also Disney has one of the easiest piles of money ever if they can pull this off with the film this summer.

Had a brief but passionate affair with Marvel comics this year, which this omnibus fell victim to. I took extensive notes on this one as well, so in depth review will (probably) come later!

I will say - families (found, adoptive, or otherwise) of superheroes who actually love each other is an underrated trope. Also, Johnny's Silver Surfer arc is iconic for a reason !!
