This is a great book for introducing kids to dinosaurs! Each type of dinosaur was given a two-page spread with illustrations and as much information as you would find on a museum display. My son and I both enjoyed them and the artwork definitely added to the reading experience.
The only drawback was repeating the same information over and over. If there was not much data on certain dinosaurs, what there was (size of jaw for example) got repeated twice or even three times.
Definitely recommended for parents and kids who want a different kind of book for bedtime reading or anyone who still loves dinosaurs!
Info I wish I got in dinosaur books: 1. What about the fossils makes us believe this about the dinosaur? 2. How many fossils of this dinosaur have we found to make us feel this confident in this knowledge?
