Sermon Notes

This sermon notes journal is designed to help you take notes of the messages that you hear, in church, Sunday School, home groups or through media such as television or the internet. The method of recording this sermon notes journal uses is to record the date of the message, the location, speaker, main text, additional texts, the major points and personal application. After listening to the message, take a few minutes of silence before God, and write down your impressions in the personal application section.
It is good to use a single journal for each year to chronicle the messages you hear in an organized fashion. This allows you to go back and look over previous messages again, perhaps receiving more insight as to their application to your life.
