This is particularly interesting in light of the currently airing season of the main series' anime adaptation, because Erebus' feelings for/treatment of Lyu do have a bit of a mirror in Freya's relationship with Bell. There's also some good information about Aiz's past, but mostly I just keep thinking how much the ending of the final volume is going to hurt. We know where this story ends. It's not pretty.

Not as good as book one. In fact, there were a lot of pages to read just to get the point of justice across. There also wasn’t as much bouncing around with the characters which was something I thoroughly enjoyed in book 1.

This book mainly center on the Astrea Famillia members, which is who the story is about, but I was disappointed I didn’t enjoy it as much as book one.

I look forward to reading the conclusion of their installment despite this one being mostly talk and not too much action.

In volume 2, the Evils have lain siege to Orario after their night of terror with the ultimate goal of its destruction. Meanwhile, one of their dark gods is more intent on sadistically teasing Lyu and her rigid, immature notion of Justice. In general, the book spend an awful amount of time asking the question, "What is Justice?" with minimal payoff. Overall it was fine, I guess. There was backstory info on Aiz thrown in that I was never aware of, so that's cool.

Great story that gives us some back story to Lyu and her familia.
