Thinking Visually: Business Applications of 14 Core Diagrams

Rate this book
Some people make use of diagramming quite naturally, without prompting. Others would rather use a thousand words than a simple, quickly drawn diagram. This is an introduction to the world of diagrams. Fourteen core diagrams are introduced, explained and illustrated in the book, and the reader is urged to see these as the essential building blocks of diagramming. Each core diagram is linked to real cases from industry and public life, to demonstrate how it is used in practice. Once the diagrams have been mastered, it is possible to combine and adapt them in many different ways.

Educational format, lots of practical diagrams on brainstorming and mind mapping. Everywhere from simple, quick and dirty, to the very detailed and complex. However, the reading in between diagrams was dry and difficult to visualize without skipping ahead to diagrams for each section.
