I think Vincenzo and Gabriella have become my new favorite DeLucas!!!!

Make sure to read the triggers as there are some heavy things that happen!

The things Gabs did to protect the girls in the family as well as her stubbornness towards Vincenzo made such a great love story!!!

Vincenzo wanted to protect the women he loves but definitely did some stupid things that made me hate him as he needed to pull his head outta his a$$ but in the end he learned from his mistakes and becomes a smarter overbearing caveman!!!!

Gabriella and Vincenzo

The push and pull of this book was real. I knew they were right for each other, but those two? Nope, they had to do things the hard way. I love this mafia series and every book gets better and better. I can’t wait until the next one.

Update: I no longer ARC read for this author and have stopped following all their social media pages.

Book 3 of a dark mafia romance about the De Luca Family. Triggers for suicide, SA and graphic torture. Content warnings can be found at the author's website.
The FMC and MMC were my least favorite stories so far. I really just wanted to beat some sense into the MMC. The book could also use some TLC by way of editing. Less spice than prior two books.
Nonna and Adriano I think are my favor character forerunners still 😅

Holy crap. This by far was the best one. Gabriella and Vincenzo. She was just as stubborn and refused to give him the time of day for a year even though he tried a lot. He was a jerk sometimes to her and didn’t believe her or even ask her about some things just accused her. When she was attacked at the club and was brought home by Roman to make sure she got in safely. She saw Vincenzo and he basically accused her even though that isn’t what happened. He told her to pack her stuff and go. Then he stormed off. She left a note and grabbed her stuff and left. She went to the same guy who attacked her at the club because he threatened to hurt Alessia. She wouldn’t let that happened. It turns out that Xavier was that was the one that abused her at 13 and continued to do it. She was kept with Xavier and Sebastian for months until they didn’t want her anymore. I am not sure where they were keeping her but when they were done they threw her out of the car. Somehow she was found and ended up in the hospital. Vincenzo was searching for her and didn’t give up. Once he found out where she was he was not able to see her. The nurse that was taking care of her asked if she wanted to and she said no so the nurse ending up calling her father to take Gabriella somewhere safe. He promised Vincenzo that he would keep him updated on her. He did just that. Gabriella had lived with them over a year before Vincenzo was called to see her because of a threat to her by a guy that wasn’t taking no for an answer. When Vincenzo showed up he handled it the only way the mafia does. Gabriella was taken back to Italy only to be ignored again by Vincenzo. He had a nurse come in and take care of her which she was a jealous person and was telling Gabriella that he didn’t want her and she would let her brother beat on her. One day Gabriella had enough and locked herself upstairs and tried to end it all. When Vincenzo heard the loud thump he ran through the house to find her that way. He was able to get her to the hospital and that is where he was asked about the recent bruises on her body. He had no idea so he had Fabio look into it and found out who is was. They were taken care of that night. So much more happened in the book but he finally got his head out of his butt with the help of Emilia. This ended happily. I’m so glad. With the way this ended and no conclusion with what happened to Xavier I’m hoping we get to find out what happened since he was stupid enough to show up at the mafia ball.

“The fact that you are back here in my arms again. I’m so fucking grateful. Paralyzed, walking, deaf, blind, or mute. It doesn’t matter to me as long as I have you by my side. I will be the happiest man in the world.” – Vincenzo De Luca

This is the third book of the De Luca Mafia series and I can say that I was impressed! It’s filled with sarcasm, sassiness, smut, action, and love! I absolutely enjoyed reading it and loved Gabriella’s strong character. Gabriella has been let down by everyone around her, yet she’s still loyal to them because they’re her family. She works as a waitress by day and a stripper by night to cover her grandmother’s medical bills and to pay off her uncle’s gambling loans. One night, when she was serving the VIP room at Blitz, she meets Vincenzo and he became obsessed with her. Unfortunately for her, some really bad men grab a hold of her and torture her for a year in order to retain the secrets of the De Luca family. She stays faithful to them but still, her world is tilted upside down when Xavier Dubois desecrates her body.

I love how Annalynn Nicole describes her characters’ pain and how they overcome it. Their growth is amazing and the storyline sucks you right in. I read around 30 chapters well into the morning without even noticing the time! My heart went out to Gabriella and all that she’s been through. I really wanted to kick Vincenzo when he shut her out but thank god for Emilia, because she knew exactly how to get his head out of his ass!

I will honestly say that I have not had enough of the De Luca family and want to read more to find out about Julietta’s story as well as Theo’s, and of course the children’s! Thank you Annalynn for bringing them into our lives!

Storm of the Scorned is the third book of the De Luca Mafia Series. It is a very dark and intense read.

Vincenzo was too hot and cold a lot of the time. He would finally get the girl and then he would act like he didn't want her. In one instance he gets mad at her and tells her to leave. Once he figures out he was misinformed about what angered him, he was hating himself and wanting her back. However, it was too late as she was gone. He does try really hard to get her back and when he finally does, he messes it up again. He also lets others influence his opinion of Gabriella. Someone would tell him something or complain about her and he would take their side without even getting Gabriella's side of the story. I get he was going through a lot at the time when this happened, but he really should've put her above a lot of things.

Gabriella has gone through a lot in her life. Reader beware there are a lot of graphic scenes about what she goes through. Even after everything she has gone through she was still a fighter. Gabriella gets abducted and she could've easily given up information which could've made it easier for herself, but she didn't. She stayed strong the whole time and held onto her morals. I am really glad she didn't make it easy on Vincenzo for everything he put her through. The emotional turmoil from him was hurtful. She truly was a strong woman who was put in horrible circumstances in her life.

The author really knows how to write strong women. Each woman in this series is strong in their own way and this is a great series to read if you want independent, strong role models.

The third installment of the Deluca Mafia series, and I still adore this family. I want to start off by saying that Gabriella's family fills me with rage because I understand that dynamic of a family member causing havoc on others because of their own addictions, and then being the person who feels they have to make up for someone else's actions. I feel for Gabriella, honestly. But, what I found in her character is that I loved her personality! When things were difficult, yes, she still had self doubt, but she was strong and pushed through it. Now moving on.
The ANGST. WOW, I was absolutely sucked in for so long that I would go back and re-read the chapters over and over. I used to be a fast reader, and recently I have started taking more time to actually enjoy the book and get all the details, and I definitely was reveling in all of these moments. I also find that I enjoy the next book more than I enjoyed the previous book, specifically Gabriella. Her character growth was amazing. Even though she went through rough patches, she was strong and still kept her heart and values. And when she meets Vincenzo, it's like their personalities mixed so completely well with their wittiness and absolute sexual tension. I just couldn't stop laughing. I love how the De Luca Family is all coming together and we are seeing all the members of this crazy family. I would even say that the women of these series... probably deserve better but their love for their mafia men really balances them.
Thank you Annalynn again for these books <3

Star Rating: 4.5⭐️
Book 3 of The De Luca Mafia Series
Pub Date: May 23, 2023
Genre: Mafia Romance
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This was Gabrielle and Vincenzo’s story. Gabriella worked at the club Blitz as a dancer and I don’t wanna give too much spoilers but she gets kidnapped for 2 years and gets ab*sed and r*ped over and over again constantly and through those 2 years Vincenzo tries to save her and doesn’t stop. Eventually she gets rescued and reconnected with Vincenzo and the DeLuca family. This is very heavy in the triggers and the trauma and just things happening to her… I felt so sad for Gabriella but I loved how Vincenzo loved her more and more every moment and he knows he messed up but Emilia straightens him out and he comes to his senses. I love seeing the whole gang. Especially Mateo and Emilia. They are my fave and my second fave is Lilyana and Salvatore. So many kiddos too in the family lol. And can’t forget Nonna and get spoon! This is still a heavy book but there is also cute and funny moments that makes it lighter which is great! I loved this book. Minor grammar errors but that didn’t take away from the story and it was really different. Gabriella is paralyzed from her trauma, that’s the only spoiler I can give to just tell how great this book is. Vincenzo doesn’t matter what Gabriella has wrong with her to him, she is perfect and he takes down anyone who looks down on her and makes sure they are done. I loved that even more! He even made sure his house was remodeled for Gabriella before she was together with him… I felt so invested in this story and character!

This is book 3 in the De Luca Series and all I can say is Annalynn Nicole has me hooked!! This story follows Vincenzo and Gabriella. Gabriella has been kicked down in life. Not having anyone to rely on. She find herself has collateral damage due to her uncles gambling debt. Trying to stay a float with her grandmothers medical bill and paying her uncles debt she finds herself striping at Blitz where she catches the eye of Mr. Vincenzo De Luca. Vincenzo has said time and time that he will never fall in love like the rest of the De Luca men. He doesn't want to have any weak links attached to him. But he just cant find it in himself to stay away from Gabriella.

Once again life kicks Gabriella down and the amount of suffering she goes thru during this book is so heartbreaking. There are times when I just want to slap Vincenzo across the face for the way he behaves! This women are so freaking strong. Their inner strength to battle their demons just amazes me.

I know I've said it on my previous reviews but I just LOVE how she continues to include previous characters in the new stories. To this date Dante and Emilia continue to the best power couple and I enjoy it so much when Annalynn includes them in the stories and they way she lays the path for future characters needless to say I'm so freaking exited for what is to come! Thank you for the author for allowing me to be part of this journey this has been once of the best ARC series I've read this year.

**Dark, addictive, and unapologetically obsessive**

*Gabriella is the kind of heroine you don’t forget. Worn down by betrayal yet fiercely loyal to a fault, she survives in a world that keeps taking from her—waitressing by day, stripping by night, all to shoulder the crushing weight of family debts and medical bills. Her resilience feels raw and painfully real, making her collision with Vincenzo De Luca all the more explosive.

Vincenzo is every dark-romance reader’s guilty pleasure taken to the extreme: a sadistic mafia underboss who thrives on fear, power, and control—until Gabriella refuses to give him what everyone else does. Their dynamic is the beating heart of this story. Her defiance against his obsession creates a slow-burn tension that crackles on every page. Vincenzo’s patience is terrifying, not romanticized, and the narrative never lets you forget just how dangerous he is. This isn’t love at first sight—it’s fixation, power, and inevitability colliding with stubborn independence.

What truly elevates this story is its commitment to the dark romance genre. It doesn’t soften the edges or rush redemption. Gabriella’s strength is hard-earned, Vincenzo’s obsession is unsettling, and the balance of power is constantly in question. Readers looking for a morally gray, possessive antihero and a heroine who refuses to break will devour this. Just be warned: once you step into Vincenzo De Luca’s world, he won’t let you go easily. 😮‍🔥

You know the author did an amazing job writing a book, when you just wanna crawl into the book and strangle the main male character for how much of an bung he is!

This is the third book in the series, and I suggest reading the previous books for background of characters. This does have extensive trigger warnings, so I suggest going through those.. I mean, it is a Dark Mafia Romance.

The two main characters are Gabriella and Vincenzo. Gabriella is a skripper and has been unwanted, unless involving money, since she was a baby. Meanwhile Vincenzo, that bunghole that I wish got tortured more than he did, is an underboss of the Italian Mafia and brother to Salvatore (second book). Those are the two main point of views, but then there is sweet Adriano. I absolutely adore that sweet, kindhearted man. He is Vincenzo's dad. It also has point of view for Salvatore and Mateo (first book). Fabio's, poor guy, wife betrays him in the worse way possible and they still have a mole in their Mafia.

Did I mention how much I DESPISE Vincenzo? He is such a bunghole and I wish more happened to him from Emilia (book 1). When it came to him and Gabriella, all I could think about was Shorty in Scary Movie screaming "RUN, B***H, RUN!"

Storm of the Scorned by AnnaLynn Nicole is the third book in the De Luca Mafia Series. Reading Book One: Reign of Vengeance and Book Two: Ruthless Retribution isn’t necessary to read first but will help you understand Storm of the Scorned better. Seriously this series is freaking amazing and this book just added an amazing layer to the amaze ball cake. I couldn’t get enough of Vincenzo; as much as he drove me bonkers… I still absolutely loved him. The story was on point, the characters were written extremely well! I literally could feel all the emotions that were described in the book as they were happening. It was like watching a movie as I was reading. I loved Gabriella’s character where she was trying everything she can to keep herself afloat with an ungrateful family that’s full of users. While Vincenzo didn’t want to appyweak in any sense of the word so he forced himself to stay away. The drama and suspense were on point!!! This series has me hooked, line and sinker… I cannot get enough!!! I need book four!!! I absolutely 100% recommend that you read this series.

Final rating:
5 out of 5 stars
The family
5 out of 5 hearts.

The De Luca saga continues this is book 3 in the series, storm of the Scorned. About Vincenzo and Gabriella's story. ❤️📚

Well well well. Where do I start! Each of these story's have a way off sucking you in and putting you through it! And this book was as good as the story's before it.🎉🎉

Hold on to your tight because you will be in for a ride of emotions is all I can say!🛼🎢

Gabriella, went through so much and my heart hurt for her. She is definitely a strong woman, ok sometimes she needed some encouragement. I was cheering her on the whole time.☺️

What can I say about Vincenzo De Luca, that man I wanted to kick the f!!! Out of him sometimes and knock sense into him. 😱😂

Not the brightest bulb in the pack 😂but he did get it together at least. So all is forgiven 😂😂 He also does end up redeeming himself, though. I just loved there story.

Annalynn Nicole did not disappoint with the characters and this story. It was beautifully written. I can't wait for book 4. To see what she comes up with next. 📚❤️

Don't wait for this series run and get it now. You won't be disappointed. I highly highly recommend, 10/10 for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“The fact that you are back here in my arms again. I’m so fucking grateful. Paralyzed, walking, deaf, blind, or mute. It doesn’t matter to me as long as I have you by my side. I will be the happiest man in the world.” – Vincenzo De Luca

Storm of the scorned is the third installment in the De Luca stories. This one is Gabriella and Vincenzo’s story. I swear these stories just keep getting better and better with each one that I read. It’s filled with everything it’s filled with sassiness, love, and so many other things but the most important is love.

I love how the author describes her characters and how they are feeling. I love how she describes the pain they are going through. And how they over come each painful thing in his or her life. I love how well written the story is, and how quickly I was sucked into this journey with the characters.

I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone. But please make sure you check the trigger warnings and troupes just to be on the safe side. If this book works for you please add it to your TBR you won’t regret it. You will be just as addicted as I am. Can’t wait to read the next installment of the de Luca series.

This is Book 3 in the DeLuca Mafia Series. It is the story of Vincenzo and Gabriella, and it is fantastic. This series gets better and better.

The amount of pain and trauma that Gabriella goes through is heartbreaking. The fact that she survives to and is so strong shows that she lives up to her nickname that Vincenzo gives her, “Little Phoenix.”

Vincenzo is the typical De Luca male. Loves hard and is oblivious to when he is messing up until a family member (usually one of the ladies) gives them a strong and painful lesson in love and communication. I won’t give any spoilers, but he kind of deserved that painful lesson.

This author has created a family that I love revisiting with every book in this series. They are very family focused and have each other’s backs. The men are alphaholes and the women are b@dA$$es and slightly more psych0tic than the guys.

While the De Luca family is morally black, the villains in this series are morally black.

Please be aware of your triggers as there are several in this book. There is multiple SA of the FMC (not by the MMC), vi0l3nc3, t0rt^r3 and unaliving.

The third book I absolutely loved. It had everything I needed and she still brought in the rest of the De Luca family just like we needed and the angst in this was spot on and keeping me glued to my couch. I love this dynamic and definitely want to keep reading this series. The family dynamics of the story is always what pulls me in and keeps me reading.

I love Vincenzo. He is golden retriever boy loyal, charming person with a warm heart. However, I wanted to strangle him more than once, messing with my emotions and acting without thought but redeeming himself.

Poor Gabriella has not had it easy with the hand she was dealt. She is undeniably strong and resilient even though she suffered so much. I was glad to see her Character grow and develop throughout and overcome the hand she was dealt.

It was a beautiful story of hardships and finding each other at the end of everything bad. I absolutely loved the ending and the bonus chapters and highly recommend adding this to your dark mafia romance collection.

I fall a little more in love with the De Lucas with each book that I read in this series. Vincenzo and Gabriella's story had me in tears, and laughing. Gabriella is by far my favorite De Luca wife to date! She is down to earth and felt more real than any other of the De Luca characters. Vincenzo's over the top behavior from past books is nothing compared to his antics in Storm of the Scorned, I couldn't help falling in love with the big goofy caveman!
The plot of Storm of the Scorned is heart wrenching to say the least, definitely have 2 boxes of tissues handy while reading. Check the trigger warnings, there is the average amount of De Luca violence and Spice. There is A LOT going on in the story, similar to the other books in the series. The editing issues are still very much present, causing my star rating to drop from a possible 5 to 3, It becomes a struggle at times to follow the story line because of them....DO NOT GIVE UP, THE STORY IS WORTH THE EFFORT!
I recommend this book to Mafia Romance lovers (Definitely read Book 1&2 of the series first!)

*check trigger warnings before reading*

This book had a bit more darkness in the sense of trauma to the FMC. The MMC was dark but if you’ve read the other books, you would have picked up on that already so it’s not much of a shock.

I’m loving this storyline, how we’re getting introduced to new characters from the first book. The character development is amazing, it really gives us a much better understanding.

Lighter spice than the other books but still quality 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Darkness is heightened ⚫️⚫️⚫️

Vincenzo was known as a dark, torture loving guy, however a fun uncle in the earlier books. In this one it dives into him being darkness while figuring out that he can love someone and want to protect them with his whole being.

Gabriella is a strong, independent woman how has gone through so much in her life. But she comes through it all and figures out that she loves Vincenzo after he helped her out with everything that she went through after they met.

I can’t wait to read more of the series and see what else we learn about everyone!

This is the third book in the De Luca series and the most emotional one yet. Check your trigger warnings before you read. This book is fast paced and will keep you captivated, it a roller coaster of emotions while you read and your heart will continue to break right up til the end but it is so worth it. The story is so well written and the characters had so much growth it was beautiful to read. Vincenzo is the psychopath of the DeLuca's and he has no plans to settle down until he sees Gabriella at Blitz then he becomes obsessed. Gabriella is a woman who has taken abuse from her family for years paying off their debts and taking their beatings. Gabriella is one amazing character she goes through so much trauma and abuse it is amazing that she is still alive. She comes out strong and resilient but her self esteem is destroyed. Vincenzo is determined to prove to her that she is everything and so much more. I absolutely loved the story and grab some tissues is truly heartbreaking. Can't wait to see what's in in store for Theo. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

I love reading Annalynn’s books! She really knows how to keep your attention and keep you wanting more! I love Vincenzo and Gabriella and being able to relate to characters personalities. Gabriella is such a baddie and she doesn’t even know it until Vincenzo shows up. This is the third book in the series and I love that there’s more to the series. Gabriella is a sweet but hard headed woman that is trapped in an unfortunate and difficult situation. She has an attitude of “I can do it myself” until Vincenzo comes along and teaches her in a very unconventional way that it’s okay to ask for help. Their relationship builds and builds until finally it snaps and they become a perfect couple. I love Vincenzo’s dad for always being there for Gabriella and the bond they build throughout the books. Who knew mafia men could be such sweeties? But anyway these books are worth the read and well worth your time. I don’t think I’ve taken longer than two days to read any of them because Annalynn just knows how to keep you reading! Until the next review my friends!

The third De Luca book, and this time we fall straight into the fire with Vincenzo and his little Phoenix, Gabriella.

This story wrecked me in the best and worst ways. I honestly can’t remember the last time a book made me cry this hard. Gabriella’s past and the life she was forced into were so brutally unfair that I had to stop and breathe more than once. And then there’s Vincenzo — the kind of infuriating, beautifully written asshole who had me raging at my Kindle.

But after all the twists, pain, and emotional chaos, the ending delivers the hope these two deserve.

A warning, though: this book is absolutely not for sensitive readers. If any of the triggers make you hesitate, trust your gut. Annalynn writes with gripping intensity and refuses to shield the reader from the darkest parts of the journey.

This book destroyed me, rebuilt me, and still wouldn’t let me put it down.
If you can handle the triggers, I can’t recommend it enough.
The De Luca family is addictive, dramatic, and impossible to walk away from.

I absolutely loved the book. It had everything and the angst was spot on. I love this universe and definitely want to keep reading this series. The family dynamics of the story is always what pulls me in.

I love Vincenzo. He is such a loyal, charming person with a golden heart. That being said, I wanted to strangle him throughout the story. He was such an idiot. I'm glad he finally realized what he did and made up for it.

Poor Gabriella. She is so strong and resilient but she was definitely dealt with a very bad hand. She suffered so much and I was glad to see her come out of it. I did wish more of her struggles with intimacy were shown in the book but I loved it regardless.

It was a beautiful story of hardships and finding each other at the end of everything bad. I absolutely loved the ending and the bonus chapters. They really helped me be sated with the story.

This book was amazing. I am in love with the De Luca Series!!!!

This book had its moments were I wanted to throat punch Vincenzo. He could be a real jerk at times to Gabriella. Gabriella was just trying to do what she needed to keep her head above water with an ungrateful family using her. Vincenzo tried to keep his distance because he thought it would make him week. Even when he would believe the worst of Gabriella even though she never gave him reasons to. Then someone from her past came back threatening Vincenzo's family and she wasn't letting that happen. So she left and went to do what she had to to keep them safe even though she knew it wouldn't end well for her. She proved to be stronger and more resilient than anyone thought. It took some time for Vincenzo to track her down and he learned everyday she was gone just what the rest of his family talked about..

If you haven't read this series you should!!

Every book in this series sucks you in more and more. I was very excited for Vincenzo's book! I knew he would be an all or nothing, all in or out type of guy that would basically be his own worst enemy and he did not disappoint!
Gabriella has gone through some stuff, and boy oh boy how she comes through and is the strong, bad-a$$ B afterwards is exactly what Vincenzo needs. She still has plenty of past trauma to deal with and that certainly doesn't make it any easier for either of these strong willed people that if they could get their heads on straight, they would realise they are a perfect match much sooner.
As with the other books, the more things and secrets get uncovered and dealt with, it seems like ten more things come to light. Just more to keep drawing us in and turning those pages to find out what's going to happen. Each book gets better and gets me invested further into their world.

Any and all women in the De Luca family deserve more than just these hot cave men. They need major awards for dealing with all the crazy, but when you meet the one who’s crazy matches your own, you can’t let them go. Granted all the De Luca men know how to screw things up royally.

You need to check your triggers!! If you have read book one and two you know this is a dark mafia romance. There is no way you can catch the eye and heart of a mafia man without some of the darkness that surrounds them, and darkness isn’t far off.

I loved being able to see Vincenzo fall. And when these De Luca men fall they fall hard and know how to screw up and sabotage themselves without the help of the rival mafias.
Little spark sure has a fire in her living the life she has. Caring kind and selfless. Their love story is nothing short of testing.
Can’t wait to enjoy more the the De Luca family!!

Gabriella resembles many people we meet every day: someone who grew up believing that people rarely become what we expect — and that family is sometimes just an excuse for those who leave problems and debts for others to carry. She also learned that when something seems too good to be true, it usually is just another illusion, another trick played by fate.

Because she spends her life doing everything for everyone without ever being truly considered, she has come to expect that others will always prioritize someone else, never her.

Even with so many hardships, the attraction between Gabriella and Vincenzo appears right from the start. Yet, while he doesn’t hesitate to take risks, she keeps convincing herself she isn’t good enough for someone like him.

This time, the fairy tale feels difficult — because the princess lives a life that is painfully real.

Okay, this book ate. I literally could not put it down and was up until 3 a.m. reading. This is Vincenzo and Gabriella’s story, and let me tell you, both of them pissed me off with their choices, but I was so invested in seeing if they would get their shit together.

The story was fast-paced, and things hit the fan pretty quickly. I love the banter and interactions between all of the characters, and I really enjoyed how we continue to see past characters and occasionally get their POVs throughout the series. I am officially obsessed with the DeLuca family, especially the men, lol.

In my opinion, this book is darker than the first two in the series and is currently my favorite. As always, please make sure to check your trigger warnings before reading, as this book does touch on very dark and difficult subjects

I am once again speechless.

This series is one of my favorited mafia series. The more I get to know the De Luca family the more I fall in love with each character. Nonna is definitely my favorite with her whit and sass. She is hilarious.

This story follows Vincenzo and Gabriella. The mafia underboss and woman willing to do anything to take care of her family. The sass and the caveman in the book is everything. The things that Gabriella went through to protect a child had me balling my eyes out. She is truly incredible.

I love how Vincenzo is the overbearing caveman, but the way he loves and is willing to do anything to help Gabriella heal is truly incredible. Seeing how they grow and how they evolve together is so beautiful.
