Having heard Howard Storm speak and his deep sincerity, I highly recommend this book and his other writings. It is truly like getting a shot of adrenaline in pursuing the Christian life.
Will enthusiastically read every book he published!
There is something quite magical about reading a book authored by someone who visited hell to be saved and united with Jesus in heaven. It grips my soul like a wakeup call difficult to locate in any other evangelist book. I believe Howard is a saint, as his experience and transformation suggests. All saints become saints through extreme suffering. Howard is no exception.
I was so moved by Howard's discussion of his ministry that I will one day venture to become a nun if circumstances should change.
I was quite astonished that I had a history quote similar to Howard's, and had i continued the path, I, too, would have been susceptible to hell. However, I have found Christ and am exercising my God-given creative talents in worshipping him.
I have a dear friend who had four near-death experiences and before I met her, I read her book where she was told that she'd encounter a messenger, and I immediately knew that person was me and that my creative gifts would be a vehicle for bringing God to the world through her story.
Howard's missionary service helped me, too. There is a parable, I believe, where people were given wealth, tested to see how much greater they amplified that wealth through holy action. Lately, I've been doing that spiritual work, investing a lot of time to bringing Christ to various online forums, often forums typically secular. The creative message of Christ has reached over 10,000 people in a matter of a month, and it just keeps growing. As a result I've heard this beautiful, soft laughter of Christ three times now. It was just the sweetest warmest sound, and it filled me with joy.
Howard has inspired me to also study the Bible to great detail. I've read it only once, cover to cover, reading two pages every night for two years. I figured after reading it ten to fifteen times, I'd be dead. Howard has enlightened me to why this endeavor is vital. And I agree with Howard, the new testament is much better than the old, and I'm going to take Howard's advice and savor the disciple Paul's writings.
One thing I found fascinating was that Howard's motivation to minister the church was less about escaping hell and more about loving Jesus, which i took delight in. And the book shows the purity, complexity, and depth of Howard more than the movie or YouTube clips featuring him do. You don't know the fuller grace and beauty of Howard until you read his books. God bless you and your family on Earth and in heaven, and thank you for these charming, delightful messages from God! Lastly, please write that deeply philosophical book you toyed with writing. I need to read that one, too, and my life mission isn't complete until I do. And if I suspect correctly, neither is yours! God bless you, Howard, and thank you!
