Karol Rodriguez writes middle grade fiction about kids who are figuring things out in the most chaotic way possible. Her Diary of a K-Pop Demon Hunter series follows So-min, a self-appointed demon hunter whose weapon of choice is a mop, as she and her friends face down shadows, sing off-key, and somehow save the day. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Karol is a former teacher who now lives in Miami, Florida, where she writes the kinds of funny, fast-moving books she wishes she'd had in her own classroom.

Friendship, tolerance and forgiveness

Quick read. It shows about the importance of working together, power in numbers. Kids are quick to forgive in the story which is a beautiful thing.
