The forecast is crystal-clear. Storm incoming. Wet conditions ahead. 100% chance of an HEA.
I rented a cabin in this mountain town to finally write my book.
Then a storm hit.

Spectacularly written story about a girl who has been trying to write and a mountain man that loves the thrill of a storm. The girl was staying at a cabin close to the mountain man’s cabin that she was renting. She has come for peace and quite that she wasn’t get at her dorm room at college. The mountain man has went all over the world to get up close to the fury of natures rather.
They meet at a second hand store before the storm comes. They both feel drawn to one another. She goes to his house to get some groceries he said he would give her. But during the storm they get close to one another. He lets her borrow his laptop to use to write her story. She finds his collection of memorabilia and then he takes her to his theatre were he has shelves full of his shows and stuff he has been in.
By the end of the night they’re making love and he’s telling her that she is his. He has found the woman that he wants to be with for the rest of his life. She wants to be with him but she’s scared that he will change his mind after a while.
The next morning when she gets up she finds a not from him about meeting him in the office but she’s scared that he will want her to leave so she leaves without saying anything to him. She gets dressed, takes off what she has written on his laptop and gathers her things to go. She gets to her car and drives back to the rental cabin. When she gets there she feels hot so she takes off all her clothes except for her bra and undies. She gets some water and soon after she hears thunder and sees lightning. Water starts going in from under the front door and she tries to get a hold of the person she rented the cabin from but it only goes to voicemail. Then lightning strikes again and it hits a tree splitting it when it splits it goes over the road so she has no way to get out if she tried, she’s so scared and she wishes that her mountain man would come save her.
He finds out that she’s gone so he gets to his truck to go get her back because he can’t live without her by his side. He goes down toward her rental cabin when a car is stopped in front of him and the guy of the car is out, he gets out of the truck going to the guy telling him to move his car. He gets in his car before the guy moves his car, he gets to the part of the tree that’s in the road he tries to move it with his hands but he just gets the hurt so he takes off his shirt and rips it up to cover the cuts on his hands. Once he gets his hands cover he gets the ax and a rope, he cuts up the tree except for the biggest part that he just pulls off of the road. He gets to the cabin and opens the door to find her. He takes her in his arms, kissing her. They talk about why she left and that she belongs to him. He takes her to his truck.
Six months later their at an amusement park about to go on a roller coaster even though he keeps asking if it’s safe but before the roller coaster can go a storm hits and the have everyone get off of the ride. They make their way to a game that’s not open yet. He gets on one knee in front of her and talks to her about how he wants to be with her before asking her to marry him, she tells him yes.
Ten years later she’s an author and he owns an adult summer camp were they compete against their peers in physical challenges. The own a house in Brooklyn, they have two children. They’re all about to go to a ski resort for Christmas. But before they go they kiss and make love. They love one another. She loves being the one that he chases.
A sensational page turner with wonderful characters an easy to read story. A steamy romantic happily ever after story.

If you like short instant attraction, instant love you will like this story. Emma has rented a cabin so she can write her story. Her computer dies and she heads to the local repair shop. While there she wasn’t able to get it repaired but she ran into a fascinating man named Jonathan. Jonathan was an interesting, dynamic, energetic, hunky man. Emma and Jonathan connect with each other. With a storm coming their way Emma decides to ride the storm out with Jonathan. The story is fast paced, steamy, sizzling, blazing hot chemistry. You will find the story filled with drama, passion, lust and love. Really enjoyable.

OK a book that is the short should not take me two days to read it
It reads as if every page not only do you not know where it’s going to go, but the author also did not know where it was going to go
There’s no flow of conversation I’m genuinely confused as to what the main character job is and how he is financed at all. Is he a model? Is he a storm chaser? Does he sell the stuff or does he keep it genuinely confused?
And the whole romance/fall in love aspect is a hot mess express, and does not make sense at all
I’m normally OK with Novelas because I understand it’s going to be Insta and sometimes Insta love and that’s fine but this one just felt weird and disconnected the whole time I would just skip it

Emma notices the new customer and is stunned by the sexy hunk of a mountain man.
Emma had hired a cabin to try and write her book but her computer breaks so she heads into town to the secondhand store to see if they had one. When they do not have one she leaves but then goes back to pay the shopkeeper for looking at her computer. See sees a new customer who when she looks at hims causes a reaction as he is a tall sexy mountain man. When he finds out what her problem is he offers to take to his home so she can use his laptop. Jonathan looks at the young woman and he is unable to see anything else.

This is my first book I've read by Lauren Milson and I have to say I was hooked from start to finish. Emma and Jonathan have an instant chemistry and attraction and boy oh boy their story has a lot of steamy and hot moments and dirty talk. And a lot can also happen during a storm and she does get to write her story, but she doesn't really care with the tough and hot Jonathan who has a mouth that says dirty things that make you really hot . Highly recommended to read.

In this book we meet Emma & Jonathan. Emma just wants to work on her book. Too bad for her, her computer just died. Now her next problem seems to be making sure she has enough food to get through the storm. Jonathan has seen Emma around and knows what he wants. Can they find a HEA or will this storm make sure they will never be together again?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Jonathan is a storm chaser and Emma is a writer. These two are instantly attracted to each other when they meet. When a big storm knocks out the power in Emma's cabin Jonathan comes to her rescue and takes her to his cabin so he can take care of her. Things take an ott steamy turn. This is a quick read with likable characters, some drama, angst, steam, and a happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Jonathan is the last person Emma expected to find in the small town where she rented a cabin to write. Jonathan is a mountain of a man that tracks storms, but storms into Emma life hard and fast.
Love this fast read that list layers of intense feelings, strong passion and a possessiveness that has you melting.

This book is perfectly named. Jonathan is the perfect storm of love, possesiveness and protectiveness.
Emma is what Jonathan needs and Jonathan is what Emma needs. She needs someone in her corner who loves her beyond measure.

Emma needs to write her book, so she rents a cabin up on a mountain. She runs into Jonathan at the hardware store. Jonathan sees her and instantly falls for her. They went to his cabin and had an awesome night together. Instalove, sweet, steamy, romantic and safe with a sweet HEA 😍😍
