Sweet children's book that tells the story of Grace a little angel who becomes the star that shines over Bethlehem for Jesus' birth. But that's not the end of her story as she plays another role in Jesus' life. This book would be a wonderful Christmas read for the whole family.
I just love Melody Carlson. Why in the world are so many of her books out of print!? This story is so sweet, so sweet I cried at the end. I couldn't find it anywhere in the library system, which is sad for CO residence. So I had to take the plung and purchase it straight out. Lovely art work and overall fantastic book.
I thought this book was pretty good - it was quite imaginative the way the author made the angel have a place in Jesus' whole life cycle. My ten year old daughter absolutely loved this book. She read it again and again. Three stars might be a bit low for the rating but I can't say I "really liked it".
A fanciful story of an angel who volunteers to leave her position of an angel in heaven to become a star announcing the birth of Jesus.\n\nIt is a very fun story. Although there was implication that the angel sacrificed as much as Jesus. So I'm not sure about that part. I still liked it though.
