Doug Brown was raised in dramatic arts and theater, which led to a music career and eventually shot him into the spotlight as a professional skateboarder. Doug's love for the world of skateboarding began at age twelve, after seeing Back to the Future for the first time. While the skateboarding trend has waxed and waned in popularity, Doug's commitment to the sport remained constant. His skate life began by chance in 2002 at the Gravity Games and caught the eye of his first sponsors. After that, it’s been a whirlwind of personal appearances, demos, and notably performing his Skate Straight program across the nation at libraries and schools.
