Listened to the audio this eve...Read by Stacy Keach...He's good, but no one could bring this to 4 or 5 stars. A visceral, short, well written tale, but nothing exceptional in the story line. Criminal characters reminded me of the worst deviants from Law and Order episodes--Some illogical behavior by victims, too... but make of it what you will. I was glad for the brevity-Most current mysteries/suspense/thrillers seem to go on forever. Not this one.

Listed to this on tape, This was a pretty good book, not one of my usual books but still pretty good. Very good story line, detailed characters, good suspense
