An ugly and disappointing book about the famous cartoon duo. It does the screen cat and mouse no justice by failing to stick to their classic designs. Indeed, the cover shows their television personalities, not their classic Hanna-Barbera selves. The book is surprisingly uninsightful - a better analysis of their films can be found in Of Mice and Magic: A History of American Animated Cartoons; Revised and Updated. A better and much more beautiful reference book on their theatrical shorts is Tom & Jerry: The Definitive Guide to their Animated Adventures. However, in my opinion, the book on their films has not been written, yet.
