Dr. Norman Bergrun is an alumnus of Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) predecessor of Ames Research Center, NASA where he worked twelve years as a research scientist. At Ames, he pioneered the setting of design criteria for airplane thermal ice-prevention and the developing of roll stability laws for airplanes, missiles and rockets.

He joined Lockheed Missiles and Space Company (now Lockheed Martin) where he was manager of the planning and analysis of flight tests for the Navy Polaris Underwater Launch Missile System. During his thirteen years at Lockheed, he also served as a senior scientist having responsible analysis cognizance of special space-satellite applications. After a short tour of duty with Nielsen Engineering and Research, in 1971 he founded Bergrun Engineering and Research, parent of Bergrun Research founded in 1999 especially for world wide web activities.

Some expressions of the British conspiracy theorist D. Icke led me to read this book. By Icke, I point these:
(1) Saturn was once the prime sun --a dwarf star-- of the earth, with no rings
(2) there’s a giant electromagnetic phenomena going on in Saturn (including radio emissions) that can explain the “Saturn and Moon matrix", a gigantic system broadcasting the “reality” humanity perceives.

Of course, I didn’t find a total (even partial) corroboration of Icke’s views. Just some interesting facts.



Norman’s purpose for “this treatise” was, back then, to demonstrate that “compelling reasons indeed do exist for URGENT further exploration of Saturn and environs".

He recalls “luminous sources” had been watched by Herschel and Knight and Ainslie.

The main concept of the book is “the vehicles” spotted: they have propulsive and devastating capabilities; they can be of different types; their electromagnetic activity creates the “rings”; it’s a “massive display of power”.

Two satellites of Saturn are approached: Iapetus (its “mystery”) and Dione’s (its “scars”).

After a few years of wanting to read this book, I finally got my hands on a copy. I have no background in astronomy or ufology but still find the basic premise of this book very intriguing—namely that the rings of Saturn are not naturally occurring but are in fact “made” by giant vehicles.

In this short book, Dr. Bergrun details NASA photos from the Voyager 1 flight that he believes prove the existence of these enormous machines. He begins with a brief history of our observations of the rings, beginning with Galileo and working his way into the 19th century. The author uses these early findings to begin building his case.

Dr. Bergrun believes that these machines are electromagnetic vehicles, or EMVs as he calls them. Exactly what their purpose is (or was) is not made clear, but their size and features are detailed—very big (they are cylindrical and up to 3 or 4 times the diameter of the Earth long) and possibly very old (Dr. Bergrun suggest that they could be as much as 3 or 4 billion years old.) Some of the plates in the book offer interpretations of what they might look like.

The author believes that the infamous Tunguska catastrophe of 1908 was the result of one of these EMVs getting too close to Earth. He also attributes the creation of Mare Orientale area of the moon to be a burn mark left by one of these EMVs.

The book is somewhat technical, but I felt that it was still very approachable to the average reader.

Then there is the big question: do I believe Dr. Bergrun’s theory? For the most part, the answer is yes. I think there certainly could be something to it because he makes a pretty good case for the existence of these vehicles, and photographs make for great selling points. However, I found it hard to see what I was supposed to be seeing in some of the photos. Maybe that is due to my unfamiliarity with NASA photos, but in a few of them I just didn’t see what Dr. Bergrun saw. All of the photos are labeled, and the author did insert markings to point out the objects and important features within them though. There are some very compelling photos as well—these make for strong evidence in Dr. Bergrun’s favor.

I think it would be a mistake to write off the contents of this book as the ravings of a wacko because Dr. Bergrun is anything but. His background and education are impeccable. He was part of NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), the organization that later became NASA, among a long list of other things. His achievements are so impressive it is worth quoting from his website at length:

He is a founder of the California Society of Professional Engineers Education Foundation, is author of two books Tomorrow's Technology Today and Ringmakers of Saturn and has published over 100 papers. Two recent manuscripts, Lunar Life Forms: Revelations of Apollo 14 and Mars Puts on a Good Face: The Masquerade, have been registered with the Library of Congress, Washington, D. C. He has lectured in the United States, Canada, England and Europe.

Credited with numerous awards and citations including the California Society of Professional Engineers Archimedes Engineering Achievement Award, and Special Service Citations for contributions to the AIAA National Public Policy and to the Regional Sections Activity Committees, he is listed in Marquis "Who's Who in the World", "Who's Who in America", "Who's Who in Science and Engineering", and other reference works.

Continuing interests include photography*, NASA student activities and music, having played as a concert musician at Carnegie Hall with the Cornell University Band and having been a founder of "Aurora Singers", a 64-voice choir.”



All in all, this book raises some important questions and will definitely make one think. If these EMVs are real, then where did they come from? What is their purpose? Dr. Bergrun points out that these massive, powerful vehicles could easily obliterate life on our planet, either intentionally or by accident; this is why he begins and ends this book with a plea for world peace and unity.

Over 100 pages of somebody basically staring at clouds and seeing dragons and speculating what the world would be like with cloud dragons.

The author takes very blurry satellite images of Saturn and really tries to say some blurry lines are spaceships the size of the US or the diameter of the moon. He calls these electromagnetic vehicles and then discusses how these vehicles would operate. Much of the images are covered with his notes and sketches to better help you see the spaceships he’s found. He then links them with the existence of rings around Saturn and how these ships probably made them. He then discusses how since these are so big and powerful, they probably affect Earth weather, global warming, mass extinctions, the Tunguska event, random nuclear explosions, and moon craters. Thankfully, he says these appear benign or at least indifferent to humans, but says we need to unite under a world government and develop spaceships to defend ourselves.

The images were not compelling and everything in them seemed like they could explained as being a rock. He would take a blurry line and then elaborate on the different propulsion methods they must use and different systems they had… off a blurry line. The author sounded like he spent a lot of time and effort writing it (it is a little dry and technical) but I remain unconvinced.

Fascinating book. The main idea of a book that super large (diameter of earth) electro-magnetic extraterrestrial ships are "making" the rings of Saturn. On top there is a hypotheses that it wasn't meteor that caused Tunguska event but nuclear explosion (nukes didn't exist on earth in 1908). The book is technical and I had difficulties seeing the ships on the slides author presents but he also confirmed that for untrained eyes it will be difficult to see. Considering the authors extensive research and scientific background all that's left is trust him on that.

The hypothesis that those ships had existed for the past 4 billion years is also mind blowing.

Dr Bergrun isolated the astronomical data from the 1970's etc era that plainly showed huge ships in Saturns rings - the same kinds of ships spotted by the 21st Century NASA cassini probe in its saturn flyby .. totally vindicating Bergrun who had to have taken some flack over the decades from the usual suspects .. but are they making saturns rings or are they mining out the flat sea of pre-ground minerals ?

On this book the author explains their own point of view about the anomalies found by the voyager probes sent by NASA in the 1970's. This book is amazing considering that it was published in the 1980's because it contains a lot of colorful graphic material that depicts several anomalies found in the Saturn rings and that until today (including the new photo material for contemporary probes) are hard to explain. For me it is very interesting to known the point of view that differs from the already accepted explanations and make my own conclusions.

كمقبلات أنصح بقراءة تقرير ناسا، الذي استقرأ مشاهدات العلماء للظواهر الغريبة على سطح القمر منذ قرون المسمى Chronological Catalog of Reported Lunar Events

يمكن أن يترجم عنوان الكتاب إلى "صانعو حلقات كوكب زحل" أو إلى ترجمة بتصرف غير مخلة كـ "من صنع حلقات كوكب زحل؟"
من خلال العنوان يتضح محتوى الكتاب وهو أن كوكب زحل -بعضه على الأقل- لم يكن نتاج الأسباب الطبيعية الصماء فقط، بل تعرض الكوكب لتأثير فيزيائي من قبل مصممين عقلاء.


هذا الكتاب ليس من كتب الخيال الروائية، ويمكن أن يصنف بحذر شديد ككتاب خيال علمي يجمع بين العلم والخيال، ولكن ماهو موجود بين طيات الكتاب حتما ليست تخيلات ولم يكن أصلًا غرض الكتاب إشباع خيال القارئ، بل الموجود فرضية مبنية على مشاهدات وقياسات ممتدة عبر القرون، وتوجت بمعلومات حصل عليها الكاتب في عام 1981.

الكاتب هو العالمِ والمهندس نورمان بيرجرن، والذي عمل في وكالة ناسا الفضائية وعمل في الوكالة التي سبقتها وكان اسمها NACA، كما كان يعمل في شركة لوكهيد (لوكهيد مارتن حاليا) المهتمة بمجال الطيران والصواريخ والصناعات العسكرية، وله إنجازات في تطوير الطائرات والصواريخ بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، فهذا الجزء البسيط من سيرة الكاتب يدل على أنه يعلم عن ماذا يتحدث.


في البداية تحدث الكاتب عن مشاهدات العلماء المشهورين في القرون السابقة لكوكب زحل، والتي تفاوتت في وصف الكوكب ووصف حلقاته، فكان الرأي المشهور الذي فسر اختلاف أوصافهم هو اختلاف المناظير قديما بالإضافة إلى موضع زحل المتحرك حول الشمس والبعد الشديد للكوكب الذي قد يعيق رؤية جميع الحلقات أو يعيق رؤية بعضها في أوقات دون أوقات.
لكن الكاتب بعد حصوله بشكل رسمي في عام 1981 على بيانات المركبتين أو المسبارين Voyager One & Two فوياجر واحد & فوياجر اثنان اللتين انطلقتا في السبعينيات، ادعى بأنه دحض الرأي المشهور -عبر القرون- عن كوكب زحل ضمن فرضية جديدة انتصرت للعلماء القدماء وطرحت عدة معلومات وأسئلة.

فرضية الكاتب هي أن بعض حلقات كوكب زحل مصنوعة من قبل مركبات فضائية عملاقة إلى درجة يعسر على أغلب القراء تخيلها، فأطول شيء يمر عليك في حياتك اليومية تأكد أن أي مركبة من المركبات أطول منه بمئات أو آلاف! ولن أطرح اي رقم لأتركك تقف على أطوالها المتفاوتة بنفسك، ونفس هذه المركبات تقوم بشكل مستمر على الحفاظ على الشكل العام للحلقات عبر القرون.

استند في الفرضية إلى مشاهدات العلماء السابقين حيث كان بعضهم يرى حلقة من حلقات زحل ثم لا يراها لمدة شهور، وآخر يرى الحلقة ثم يرى ثغرة فيها، وثالث يرى تفاوت آخر في الحلقات، واستند كذلك على بيانات المسبارين فكانت تخرج على شكل صور استطاع الكاتب أن يلاحظ فيها أجسام تبلغ نسبة عرض الواحد فيها إلى طوله 1 إلى 13، يعني تشبه المسطرة، ولاحظ أن الأجسام هذه تتواجد متقاطعة مع الحلقة الفلانية من حلقات كوكب زحل عندما لا تكون الحلقات مكتملة، فتقوم بإكمالها، ولكي لا أفهم بشكل خاطئ، فلا أتكلم عن ظل كوكب رحل الذي يبدو كما لو كان يجزئ الحلقات، بل أن بعض الحلقات تكون غير مكتملة كما تدل الصور الملونة التي سيضعها الكاتب. من الصور التي وضعها الكاتب صورة هندسية تقريبية لشكل المركبة الذي يبدو كأنه شكل حشرة.
عرض الكاتب فرضيته بكلام يناسب الجميع في البداية ثم أخذ في تفريعه وأخذت المصطلحات العلمية تتكاثر، ثم طبق فرضيته على أقمار كوكب زحل ووجد أن هذه المركبات تؤثر عليها، ولكن بعد هذه النقطة أصبح الكلام إلى حد بعيد مكررًا ومعقدًا، إلى أن وصل إلى الربع الأخير من الكتاب. فالفصول المهمة من الكتاب التي يجب قراءتها هي من البداية إلى الفصل 4، ثم من الفصل 11 إلى النهاية، إلا أنه يستحسن أن يقرأ الكتاب كاملًا لأن هناك فصولًا ستؤثر على فهمك للتبعات والتوصيات.

في الربع الأخير من الكتاب تم ذكر التبعات والتوصيات، فخلص الكاتب إلى أن هذه الأجسام هي مركبات تحركها قوى عاقلة، وأنها لا تمثل خطرًا حقيقيًا على الجنس البشري في المستقبل القريب -من عام 1985-، لكن يمكن أن تشكل خطرًا في المستقبل البعيد، كما يحتمل أنها قد شكلت خطرًا قبل 65 مليون سنة حيث لا يستبعد الكاتب أن تكون السبب وراء انقراض الديناصورات لتشابه الآثار بين ما حصل على الأرض وما حصل على أقمار زحل.

وفي موضوع خطر هذه المركبات يطرح الكاتب حادثتين يحتمل منهما أن هذه المركبات قد تدخلت بالفعل في عصرنا الحديث وكادت أن تشكل خطرًا، الحادثة الاولى انفجار تنغسكا Tunguska في سيبيريا سنة 1908 الذي قضى على مساحة واسعة من الأشجار وجعلها في مستوى الأرض، والتي لا يعلم إلى اليوم سببها، والحادثة الثانية وهي حادثة نووية حيث التقطت الأقمار الصناعية الأمريكية في عام 1979 انفجارًا نوويًا وقع في المحيط الأطلسي بين قارة أفريقيا وقارة انتاركتيكا Vela Incident ، نعم هناك من احتمل أن يكون الكيان الصهيوني "إسرائيل" وراء هذا التفجير لكن لا معلومات يقينية عن سببه.
لكن يقول الكاتب أن الأسلحة النووية التي بحوزة الدول العظمى هي أكبر خطر يهدد البشر، ويجب الالتفات إليه بشكل أكبر بل يجب التخلص من تلك الأسلحة، ويشدد على ضرورة تقارب وتلاحم البشر حتى يمكن أن يصمدوا في المستقبل البعيد إن قررت هذه المركبات تحويل كوكب الأرض إلى أرض جرداء كالمريخ أو القمر أو حتى استصلاح كوكب الأرض والذي لن تكون نتائجه رحيمة بالبشر!

وفي موضوع قد يتعلق بالفقرة الأخيرة أعلاه،
قال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب مؤخرًا بأن أميركا كما أن لديها قوات برية وبحرية وجوية، فإنها كذلك تحتاج لقوات فضائية Space Force أو قوات الفضاء والخطاب موجود على اليوتيوب.


يمكن الإطلاع على مقابلة أجريت قبل سنوات مع الكاتب والذي كان يبلغ حينها 91 سنة موجودة على اليوتيوب بنفس اسم الكتاب ومدتها أكثر من ساعة وسبع وأربعين دقيقة، وهناك محاضرة قديمة القاها يشرح فيها ما توصل إليه ومدتها ساعة ونصف.




لمن يريد معرفة المزيد حول الكائنات الفضائية كمقاطع وصور وأبحاث من هواة بذلوا معظم أوقاتهم في هذه الأمور، فعليه بالاشتراك في قناة SecureTeam10 على اليوتيوب، وسيشاهد مقاطع لأجسام متحركة في الفضاء وقرب القمر والكواكب بل وأجسام متحركة في الغلاف الجوي ترى بالعين المجردة وأحيانا فقط عبر الأشعة ما تحت الحمراء ولا تنطبق عليها صفات الطائرات، كما سيشاهد مجسمات وأبنية على القمر وكواكب أخرى وداخل أعماق المحيطات تدل على أننا لسنا لوحدنا، هناك العشرات من هذه المقاطع والمئات من المقاطع التي تتكلم عن الكائنات الفضائية عموما، وما يميز هذه القناة أنها تترك لك مجال التفكير وليست منغمسة عميقًا في نظرية المؤامرة، كما أن الكثير من متابعيها ردودهم محايدة بل يقفون ضد ما تطرحه القناة التي جمعت المؤيدين والمعارضين لا كعادة بقية القنوات.
ستجد في القناة مقطعا أو مقاطع تعرض نفس ماهو موجود في الكتاب ولكن بصور حديثة أكثر وضوحًا وأكثر قاطعية للشك، كما ستجد مقاطع عن جسم يشبه المركبات التي ستراها في الكتاب، وهذا الجسم اكتشفته وكالات الفضاء وتكلم المهتمون بالفضاء عنه كثيرًا وحيرهم، لأن شكله غريب عن أشكال الأجسام الفضائية التائهة، ولأنه قد جاءنا من خارج النظام الشمسي ولأن مساره غريب، فكأنه دخل إلى نظامنا الشمسي كي يستعمل جاذبية كواكبنا والشمس ليعدل مساره ويتزايد في سرعته أي كأنه يستعمل طريقة Gravity Slingshot وهذه صورة تخيلية له مع صورة لمساره Interstellar Asteroid




واختم بالآتي:
إن وجود كائنات عاقلة أخرى غير البشر لا يمنعه العقل، بل هو مؤيد من النقل، فلا مانع أن تكون هذه المركبات أو من يحركها هم الملائكة أو الجن أو كائن آخر، كما أن الله تعالى يقول {ومن آياته خلق السماوات والأرض وما بث فيهما من دابة وهو على جمعهم إذا يشاء قدير}، و {والخيل والبغال والحمير لتركبوها وزينة ويخلق ما لا تعلمون}.

Going beyond the tantalising concept of giant spacecraft orbiting Saturn, I found this book a bit too technical to really enjoy. Who would have thought studying aliens could be so mathematical? Anyway, most of the book is commentary on a bunch of mostly unstriking and hard-to-make-out photographs. The concluding notes are a little more digestible. I guess I often found myself noticing how easily one can think someone knows what they're talking about just because no one else does. At the end of the day, the question is: Do I believe there are aliens flying around Saturn?
Are its famous rings the product of alien exhaust trails?

Do I believe that? Well, not really.

Do I know it isn't the case? Of course I don't.

Do I believe in aliens in general? Well, I believe the universe and everything in it is created by God. Like any self respecting Christian, I accept that something does not have to be seen in a direct and physical sense in order to justify belief. In that light I would not, and cannot, claim an informed opinion on what else might be out there. If there are aliens, God wills it to be so. If not, they are just an exciting figment of our imagination. Either way, I feel it is not our place to know unless evidence - such as actual, irrefutable contact - be made available. In the end, I guess we all must accept that whatever we do or don't believe in - whether God (or any other deity) figures into our belief system- the universe is beyond our scope of current knowledge. Therefore it is folly to say either one or another is the absolute truth.

So just maybe Norman Bergrun was onto something.

Jordan Maxwell recommended this book in one of his talks on the symbolism of Saturn in religions.

Yes there is deep symbolism and the ancients amazingly seem to have known that there was a hexagram on Saturn's north pole and an eye like structure on the south pole which was confirmed when the Viking spacecraft photographed these structures in the late 70s and which provided the images Bergrun uses to make his long bow surmises.

Unfortunately this book is pile of manure and for Jordan Maxwell to have recommended it is a travesty to his legacy.

The Saturn rings according to the author are made by an alien lifeform and are still being constructed by strange spacecraft that he has identified in a series of indistinct images.

Yep folks that's the premise of this book.

The book has certainly some interesting aspects and speculations, but it is mainly based on low-resolution photos, it does not mean that they are false, it just means that we do not have enough material to have a positive conclusion. With the proper photos from the Hubble telescope, we may have some positive conclusions. We do have very interesting anomalies on Iapetus and on our Moon though.

Detailed. Very interesting. I wonder if instead of large spaceships creating the rings, if the large light rays being emitted are ice and dust particle colliding?

In the book, Bergrun hypothesizes that the rings are so hot and that mostly what is emitted from these vehicles is a mist or fog. Current research and images do no not corroborate this theory as they found the rings to be extremely cold.

Who knows, maybe future space explorations will let us in on some of these great questions.
