Annabel Bastione has been immensely naughty ever since she could remember, often having very elaborate fantasies/experiences which fortunately for you readers, has largely been put to writing. When she's not busy tapping her fingers on her keyboard, she's probably clicking her mouse...
You can find her stuff on Smashwords, Amazon, ARe and Bookstrand.
So this week was my choice of book. A good friend of mine recommended this to me. Not because it was written well, but for one story in particular, the first one. Pack Pals in Treeing some Cooch. LoL. That story alone made it worth the 99 cents I invested.
I'm sad to say I was only able to stomach 4 of these shorts. The first four are poorly written, and well, just ridiculous.
Pack Pals in Treeing some Cooch. This was about werewolves. These two Weres are step brothers, and they go into the forest to look for their dad I think. Anyway , they are looking for someone, when they stumble into a foggy poison area of the woods. Both of them are paralyzed by poison.
Here is where it gets weird. Vines of poison Ivy show up and start weaving their way towards the men. You will never believe what happens now. they get raped in the ass by a vines.
"Not there! Not in my ass! HELP!"
"I shut my eyes and braced myself as I felt a vine running itself over my fleshy behind before slowly entering my asshole"
Though they were a bit skeptical at first, both him and this step brother really enjoy it. Turns out the vines are controlled by a dryad named Lillian. Oh, and she's beautiful. Her spunk that she blows into their butts through her vines, apparently curses the poison.
They end up going back into the forest for a last romp with Lillian, so she can cover them with her juices and make it through the woods to where ever the hell it is they are going.
"Lillian was apparently very good with her vines as they made my ass feel awesome the way they went in and out of me."
So they have this gag inducing threesome in the woods. Let me just say when Lillian finally did lose her shit and come, I nearly lost my lunch. lol.
Lesson learned... Never ever ever, is fucking live plants a good idea. I couldn't help but think the whole time, "what would my neighbor think if she ever saw me squatting over my garden"
Don't fuck plants people! you will get covered in nasty sap and make a damn fool of yourself.
"The vine spanked Stefan over and over again, turning his ass a red so bright I could see it at night."
I'm not even going to discuss the other 3 I read, they were not nearly as entertaining. I suppose there could be decent erotica's in this book. Perhaps I will read a story here and there, after all, I did buy it.. so might as well get my money out of it.
I never did finish this. I'm just gonna delete it and let the few reviews I wrote stand.
Pack Pals in Treeing Some Cooch by Annabel Bastione 1☆ OMG, so hilariously bad! I mean like it's so bad it's actually a lot of fun. I can't give it a higher rating because, well, it's horrible. But if you're the sort that ever stayed up late to watch B-grade sci-fi movie and enjoyed them as much for the cheese factor as in spite of it, this might be something you enjoy too. Plus, I did appreciate that the characters were bi-sexual.
I'll just leave this quote here as an example.
"Not there! Not in my ass! HELP!" My eyes widened in shock. What in the world was the being doing to Stefan? Was… Was it raping a werewolf? I cried, tears running down my yellow eyes, my black irises dilated with fear. "Hey… Hey, it actually feels… Kinda good!" Stefan grunted.
Fangs of Desire by Brandy Corvin 2☆
Cheesy sex and too much focus on drunk, not drunk, drunk, not drunk. Several contradictions in the narrative and a woman who doesn't believe someone's a vampire even as he bites her. But kind of fun in a silly sort of way, just not overly erotic.
The Shadow of the Wolf by Adriana Rossi 1☆
Bad, just bad. Bad writing, bad pacing, bad characterization, bad sex, bad consistency. Just bad.
Blood and Black Leather by Cassandra Court 3☆
Vampire/hunter fem-dom that was surprisingly enjoyable, considering the company it's keeping in this compilation.
Fuck on the Wild Side by Jessi Bond 3☆
Would have been better without the paranormal aspect, which was ridiculous. But as it was it had an amusing tone that I appreciated.
Howl by J.J. Collins 1☆
Alpha whips an oddly defiant Omega and then f*cks him with an apparently magic cock, as he suddenly becomes the perfect submissive. Disturbing in its violence and far too contextless, even for an erotic short.
Shared by Vampires by Layla Cole
Paradise by Lorelai Phoenix
The Hunt by N.S. Charles
Letting Go by Polly J. Adams
Pack Initiation by Serena St. Claire
Riding the Snake by Victoria Scarlett
The Werewolf Whisperer 1: Sit, Stay, Good Boy by Victorie Lazer
This was a good book with more than a few toe curling moments. While I enjoyed almost all the stories (wasn't a big fan of paradise and letting go?), I wonder why all the werewolf stories were gay, are there no female werewolfs? And in pack pals why do we only get the name of one character?? The story of Kazaa was hilarious and I can't help but wonder what Kazaa would have done if the sacrifice (poor person didn't I know They were the offering!!) was of the opposite sex? Jon Eric and Rose? was also a favorite of mine and I def wanna read more about them! Quite a few have read to the idea to read more from the author, esp for the few that are quasi cliff hangers!! There are m/m, m/f, m/f/m scenes with dirty and hilarious talk, if that's your thing read this book, if not skip it get it and read just the ones you like!
DNF at 8%. I pushed my way through the first story, but couldn’t make myself go any farther. If the first one is an indicator of the rest...it was just horrible.

What did I think?
Well, very much like April, I could not finish this "book" This was seriously one of the most worst written compilation of short stories. Ever. There was only one okay one and that was the first story...and even that was a stretch.
This was about a couple werewolf step brothers. I honestly think that the main POV has a crush on his brother, Stefan. That in itself was disturbing.
The scars did nothing but make his body even more beautiful in my opinion.
I turned to Stefan, he too had transformed into the most handsome werewolf I had seen.
Um ewwe. LOL This entire book can not be taken seriously. Which is why April picked it I bet. We love to make fun of the dumb erotica. It makes it all worth it. LOL
I mean the story was a bad idea and the writing was worse. LOL
They actually used the word boobies. Seriously, what? Are we in Highschool? Hahahaha
There really are no words to explain this book. So I'm glad it was only 99 cents. :-)
We've already read next week's choice and those are MUCH better. I'm excited about those. :-)

Oh, reading erotica is always a dicey prospect. This one had some fun stories in it, although nothing that really stands out in my mind now a couple weeks after reading it. (I'm behind on my reading and reviewing...) Except that some of the werewolf stories featured werewolves that were a little more... anthropomorphic than I was entirely comfortable with, so I kind of just pretended that they weren't while reading...
Over all, a decent and amusing read for what I was looking for.
Some of these have more comic relief than sexual tension. Particularly the first one...with the wolves and a tree cooch or something. Mostly this collection is just weird stories. There was one that might have gotten three stars by itself. I just didn't find this erotic collection all that erotic.
I think I enjoyed maybe 2 stories out of all of these. The rest had some potential but were either poorly written or full os so many errors and awkward moments I just couldn't enjoy them. Definitely wasn't worth my wasted time, and the ratings on Amazon were crazy.
Some of the stories were pretty good but some were a waste of time. It really wasn't what I though it was going to be. So in a way I'm a little disappointed.
4*, I would recommended this book for mature adults 18+ years and older. This book had a lot of good books (a few I didn't care for) with what I think the majority being m/m encounters. I've read at least 2 prequel stories of books in this series before reading the previous ones, (Jon/Rose/Eric & the pack pals, etc) so it was good the get some back story. A few of the stories have good character development while many are a bit plotless other than sex (although to be fair, the sex is why we got the book in the first place!) The stories are a variety of lengths which is OK, even if some leave a bit more to be desired and lead to sequels to finish the story!
