5 stars & 5/10 hearts. Of course I love this book even more than the first book. I mean, it’s about a wedding!! And it’s in my favourite era (for the most part)!! I love all the gorgeous wedding details. The dollhouses are just as fun as ever. There are a few mentions of the fairies/cherubs (very easy to edit) and a few wholly or nearly unclothed cherubs, also two mentions of ‘evil sprits.’ This book mostly dwells on Victorian weddings, but it also touches on the Regency Era and the Edwardian Era, which is fun!
Such a beautiful book! Loved this one just as much as the first book, I was fortunate enough to own both (and still have both) as a child. The letters and dollhouses are so beautiful, and the stories centred around the dolls lives are super cute (think balls, weddings etc)
As expected, The Enchanted Dolls' House Wedding is just as beautiful as it's predecessor. The illustrations and 'interactive' features are wonderful. And I loved that in this instalment, one can slide the pop-up houses out to properly look at the detailed illustrations behind.
This is seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen. Having not read the 'first' book, I'm sure I'm missing a big part of the story, but I love how all of the dolls have a back story. All that's happened throughout the centuries has just happened to them, and they just are who they are. Definitely something to treasure.
Darling ... almost a pop-up book, really. Gives a innovative look into Edwardian lifestyle, especially in regards to marriage.
There are some great kid-type activities (look and find portions) along with the pop-up rooms/chapel and the little envelopes with a letter or a token inside.
Just as gorgeous as the first book. Unfortunately I bought this book not realising it's second-hand, so the last two pieces were missing (including the final letter!). This makes me very MAD and very SAD! But I digress. This pop-up book is VERY IMPRESSIVE. It would make a perfect gift too!
