⭐⭐⭐ The Vietnam Experience: The North
I really enjoyed this volume because it offers a perspective that is not often explored. It was fascinating to learn about the goals, ideas, and thinking of North Vietnam, and to see how the people and leadership viewed the war from their side. The book explains their motivations, their resilience under bombing, and the ways they organized their society and military effort. The visuals add helpful context, and the overall presentation makes this a very interesting look at a part of the conflict that is rarely examined in depth.
