I've flipped through and browsed other photography books and was left feeling frazzled and not too bright. This book was not only charming and filled with amazing photography - the photos were all taken by amateur photographers who took photos like pros with inexpensive equipment available to most hobbyists.
Excellent tips, tricks, and advice. It was easy to read...not only easy to read, but easy to understand. Also boosted my confidence in regards to being able to look and ask for what I want when I make my next digital camera purchase (which is hopefully soon!).
Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn the art and craft of taking beautiful photographs or photo journaling. The book is not only affordable, but one I feel is written in a way that is accessible to everyone. I look forward to putting to practice the information provided in this book.
I think this book is a MUST have for those that want to explore photography. It gives some great tips and has enough creativity packed in the book to actually inspire you to get OUT the camera and start shooting!
It is good for those with a simple point and shoot, or digital SLR cameras!
Well-illustrated examples show how to take better photos. Gave me a better understanding, by far, after four decades of taking lifeless photos of family and friends.
