It’s esoteríca & highly intellectualé arrogancía but it kind of blows your mind way out to buggery.
Hand Clow loves to regale us with lots of juicy stuff to get us off our backsides & out & up there into higher dimensions .. walking amongst the “numinous & ineffable” magicalities of source & spirit.
It also helps to believe in aliens.

February 7, 2009My first review so I don't know if this is the correct way to do this or if this is what the good reads site is for but ...
First of all Clow is a best selling author so my opinions are my own and I don't want to disrespect her and her opinions at all. That said I have a real problem with this book so far.
I ran across this book in the New Age section of the Barns and Ignoble book store. It caught my eye because of a video I saw of Clow talking about the Mayan Calendar. She was explaining how the calendar worked and that a Swedish Biologist Named Carl Johan Calleman had found the key that explains how the calender works. Problem with that is my understanding of her interpretation of his work leads me to believe they are both in LaLa land. What she said about his theory does not coincide with the little bit of research I have done about the calendar and the fossil record. Truth be told I was following her line of reasoning until she stated that the Pleiadians ( the little space men in her head ( my words) ) told her that everybody that can’t come up to speed with accessing nine dimensions by 2012 will turn into trees.
This is so offensive to me. I just can’t see this as anything any rational person would believe. So I have purchased her book to see if there is anything to her ideas. I am trying to keep an open mind but when I opened the book to get a general idea of what I am in for I saw a chapter on the ninth dimension and the Mayan calendar. So skipping to that chapter this is the first thing I see.
“The black hole world is an awesome, nothingness, which is filled with some of the most dense matter in the universe. Lately, reality seems strange to us on Earth because we are struggling to encompass this potent force changing our world, and few people understand what is going on. We all live in a truly amazing moment in time: Earths scientists are entering our Galaxy, which is important because realities do not actually exist unless they can be imagined or visualized. While many of us are being distracted by other stories being dished out by the media, astronomers and astrophysicists are quickly becoming the great adventurers in the Milky Way, the cosmonauts of the dark universe questing for the secrets of the universe”.
( when I just reread this I had to go back and see if I had written it down correctly. Yes, that is what she said. )
The plethora of male bovine manure that the above paragraph consists of makes me wonder if I will be able to read this at all. Her words speak to me of an unorganized and troubled mind. Perhaps this will make sense to me if I start at the beginning of the book. I have my doubts. I’m not even sure how the words as written got past an editor and copywriter.
I am trying to read this book with an open mind but As I read the first chapter I notice that she does not keep to a single idea in a sentence. What this looks like to me is a real attempt to create a space of disassociation. If you throw dissimilar ideas or images together and them bombard a person with them you can knock down the wall of rationality in that person opening them to irrational ideas.
To me the only complete idea that she sticks to is a conspiracy theory at the end of the chapter two that starts with Caesar(just Caesar LOL) and the Church that starts about 500 B.C.E. and still exist today. This is the only complete idea that runs for several pages.
I can only stand to read just so much of unorganized illogical writing before I become disgusted so I may not be able to read this book. I really would like to be able to discuss her ideas rationally with some of the New Age type people I associate with but this is a very tough read for me.

Barbara Hand Clow is unbelievable! She is working with channeling from other dimensions, and from a Pleiadian friend Her teachings here are so amazing. This book is like taking your own retreat. Each chapter starts out with a meditation-- through each of the Nine Dimensions...and through this meditations, you actually receive the activations! It's very powerful.
