Sixty long years have not been enough to end the Subhas Chandra Bose's death controversy. Behind the myths, lurks the dark realities. The intelligence think the matter is too volatile, and the media is forever chasing the leads. The judiciary has reasons to be suspicious.
Anuj Dhar is an Indian author and former journalist. Dhar has published several books on the death of Subhas Chandra Bose which (according to official and academic views) occurred on 18 August 1945, when a Japanese plane carrying him crashed in Japanese-occupied Taiwan.
The author himself mentioned that this being his very first attempt at writing about the disappearance of Netaji and the cover up by successive governments, the research is not as good as his latest book on the same subject-'India's biggest cover up'. the attempt is praiseworthy, the editing is not. the book is too winding and could have been better sectioned for more clarity. And considering that the second book has got more revelations/research, i think it would be prudent to skip this book and read 'India's biggest Cover Up'
Great insight into the Netaji Mystery. Anuj Dhar has done thorough research and has written an inspiring book. Look forward to reading "India's Biggest Cover Up".
