The Kincaids and Dillingers were at odds for years. Ira Dillinger is getting married to Pilar, after his wife passed away. His son Colton had a child with Pilar. Ira's family was not happy with his bride to be. Ricki had come home from New York to help take care of her mom before her death. Ricki had a teenage daughter, Brook. Brook wanted to return to New York but Ricki was staying in Montana. There is a killer out there wanting to get back at the Dillingers. He is killing women and then skinning them to their bones. There have been two fires at the Dillingers but the police and fire department thinks it is different from the fire at the church.

This book was good and definitely kept me interested all the way through. The only negative thing is there’s too much romance for me. If I wanted to read a romance, then I would read a romance. But other than that, I thought the book was good

The trio, Jackson, Noonan, and Bush did a great job and I loved this story.

More family drama and romance than anything, it really took away from the suspense that was few and far between, more so as the book went on. I started skimming to get back to the mystery, which would have been interesting had there been more of it and better developed.
