Women's Studies/Poetry ....And the risk we experience when we tell our stories truly is the risk of the risk that we will be changed by the telling and the risk our audience similarly experiences, that they will be changed by the hearing. In some traditions, this kind of truth telling is called witnessing. In others, it is called fiction or poetry. Living these poems has changed me, and I offer them to the reader with that warning.
